Been a while since I had to fight through the green ranks. My way up to Marauder with Noctis. I can tell I'm going to have fun with this character. Gg till next time!
He’s decent but a lot of his moves are unsafe or launch punishable. He has a few mixups but his pick up game is stupid good. Definitely one of the dinner DLC characters.
His warp strike is safe on block. Also, his range is very long - His spear & giant sword do this trick. So yeah, Noctis's most moves are unsafe, but he's also dangerous.
@Ricardo Milos Actually now that I think about Tekken 6, you've got a pretty good point there, he was alright at the start, always trying to make the best choice for the world a little bit like Heihachi, but then Jin became stupid in Tekken 6 and things went downhill from there.
Not really, Noctis has time stop hax, a barrier that can kill you instantly (death manipulation hax), and could just yeet Jin into a portal and call it a day.
Realistically Noctis hax / attack stomps Jin and the Tekken verse. Only character that can kill him is Akuma but he isnt a Tekken character (he's heavily nerfed if anything too), composite Akuma is Star Level and Noctis is only a country buster with a bunch of hax
Noctis is entirely too vulnerable up close. His only up close tool is the leg sweep, but if you block it then you pretty much can launch him into outer space..
He's no faster than any other character. He probably has one of the strongest keepout movesets and his f2 is a great whiff punisher, but his kit is quite unsafe. Only reason he looks so good here is because he's playing against a low level Jin that clearly doesn't know the matchup
Yeah, and he's got crazy range, I know some characters have it with fireballs or lasers or whatever else, but Noctis has that with weapons meaning it could be possible for him to follow up with a quick combo afterwards unlike normal long range attacks.
Me personally, yes it is. There’s a lot of players that would say otherwise. It’s just a matter of what fits you. Playing on sticker doesn’t make you better as is the same for controller. It all depends on the player itself. Just whatever they feel comfortable with.
Dude, thats what I've been saying for so long now. They will most likely put Cloud in SCVI. But we all know that Firion or Cecil would be a better fit.
