@@PCU_BLACKOUT yeah. I know low parries in t8 cause instant tornado (which is pretty much the screw equivalent for t7). That’s why I’m kinda curious why op said dvj’s combo was wrong when this was what t7 dvj’s route normally was after landing ws2 which causes s!

This was the trade off that max damage on hell sweep no longer keeps DJ in a position to 50/50 Oki after the max damage hell sweep combo. Much more balanced than it used to be, even if it doesn't seem it.

@@Shaman5EUSK also to add: half of the damage taken is recoverable, 1 heat engager and boom you recovered 50% of the combo damage.

Yeah he's playing extremely classic DVJ he uses mourning crow ONCE the entire match and didn't even do the mixup afterwards, and some of DVJ's best new moves like Shackle he didn't even use at all. I respect him for playing honest but idk if he can keep up with the rest of the cast's bullshit if he only plays classic Electric/Hellsweep mishima.

@@askiia8713 this version of DJ is insane even better than T5 or T7 season 1 DJ, i beat almost every rival using shackle on distance and 50/50 of heat mode with new mid launcher so if Qudan just take advantage of the new mechanics he can reach good grounds in tournaments but for now Kokkoma is the best DJ i saw out there in T8

@@justinmanaog3457 yeah and he struggle with that steve, imagine what someone like arslan or jdcr doit to him just cause he is jailed in old fashioned T7 style, i'm a qudan fan since he won TWT but he needs to change i just don't want to see him lose again in tournaments :(

Steve’s usually only as strong as his player

Qudans stopped playing after that Saudi tournament scammed him out of his prize money, less so that dvj got nerfed. The combo of both probably did him in though
