It genuinely felt like a perfect love letter to long time fans. Most would probably see all the Kazuya phases as repetitive but it’s such a good development of Jin and his character’s changes.
Heihachi's Dead... However, Kuma got his Drip and Moves, Lars got his hair, Lee got his tenacity and annoyance and Reina got his personality and Moves OVERALL... Kuma BEST Child.
@@highpotthesis7413 I stopped watching WWE a few yrs ago why did they push him?Is he better now or something, from what I remember he just used to be on a low level fues type of character
@@DSYOOOO I wouldn't say he's gotten better. It's just an issue of everyone involved w/the wrestling business (including fans) are isolated in their bubble & are unable/unwilling to broaden the audience.
@@DSYOOOO To put another way, the business has become over run by the same type of people who were on AOL chatrooms pushing for guys like Dean Malenko or Taka Michinoku to be world champions
I felt like the guy from Get out the entire time, crying with emotion to see how this story that I have seen during my 20 years of life finally had a happy ending, the protagonist finally made peace with his inner demons, the songs that I liked so much in his time returned to the final fight and seeing the characters I grew up being happy in the credits... my god I will never forget this experience
*Kazuya:* I am the Devil. *Jun:* Don't say that about yourself honey... *Kazuya:* What no I mean- *Devil:* I am literally the devil. *Jun:* Ohhh... Yeah honey you are a baddie- *Devil:* And Jin says I'M the problematic one.
@@dkcsi9256 i said that because tekken 7's AI was a joke (obviously because of the low budget they had) and yeah this is the first time that they implement wave dashing for AI's lol..
@@lambousginiguccigod2007 Tekken Tag's 2 release wasnt much of a success compared to earlier titles so when they worked on 7 they had very limited budget.. this is why tag 2 and even T6 look more appealing than 7
Here's the list of my favorite soundtrack in t8 in no particular order: My Last Stand Tekken Fight Lounge Entrance Liberation (Main Menu Music) Online Menu Arcade (Battle Area) Tekken Dojo (it sounds like 80's and I love it)
Let's not forget that Tekken 6 7 8 all take place within months therefore Jin just started world war 3 and few months later he's the resurrection of Jesus
Penguinz casually offering he can pick up a game for a sub makes me feel happy it was unexpected but regardless such a kind act from him. Not all tubers do this or even have to or even consider it. Pray he always stays on top of his game till the wheels fall off!
Charlie knows what he’s talking about, Tekken 8 has the best fighting game story mode I’ve ever witnessed. The ending makes me feel like I’m playing Yakuza all over again. Pure badass.
hey man, it would be amazing if you could make an online tournament for casual players like charlie and some other streamers, even better if you got arsenalty and tmm to join you on casting it. I just love amateur competitions, and with the right casting it can be a blast to watch actually lol
Holy shit (spoiler alert) when Jin's theme played, it made me cry of pure joy and I didn't even play Tekken until T7. Just shows how much they actually care for the fans. Thank you Harada and team!
For me, it was when I realized I could use Mishima-Style and Kazama-Style as Jin again, after he had abandoned it nearly 2 decades ago. I remember being so let down when he changed styles in Tekken 4, but he's back, baby! My true main is back!
Watching the whole experience was awesome Big Moist! You did well, even though the other matches were tough, you still got the hang off it! The storyline was probably the best i had ever seen. P.S: Enjoyable stream, amazing as always! Thank you, Charlie. Cheers and Good night!
Tekken 8 really got the Baki vibes but more huge like they add some dragon ball stuff into it, the whole story just about Mishima family’s daddy issues shit
you know, i know kazuya is like, an antagonist and all, but the fact that he was going to leave right after jin was defeated instead of finishing the job was honestly pretty cool
*Charlie:* Complains he doesn't know what to do during the field fighting but then also completely blitzed through the tutorial telling him how to play.
@@VampirezZ4 you do realise that he liked Tekken before he was ever sponsored by them? He just got paid for promoting a game he would have played regardless. If you are referring to him getting frustrated... That's just a Tekken experience, some fights aren't easy and it can get frustrating getting trashed on By the Cpu, but once you beat it you feel great.
The Bad Ending btw is essentially another slideshow but it has the G-Corp affiliated people in the position of the heroes (instead of Shaheen on the boat it’s Nina, instead of the city being recovered it has Bryan destroy it, etc)
@@guywithreallybadchannelnam6184pretty much the norm now of most games to have multiple endings but the Jin ending is surely the true ending otherwise we just get no lore later on
you mean his angel design? personally after playing final fantasy i think the design looked awesome cuz it was like a modern version of the warrior of light xD
I finished the game 100% i got the platium trophy took me 1 day and 7 hours Thats with breaks sleep etc it would of been sooner if i wasnt so busy. Tekken never disappoints..
I feel like games nowadays try too much to appear to a wider audience, but they only lose their core fanbase through that. I feel like Tekken 8 dod good by actually knowing and doing what the TRUE fans wanted
90% of the people complaining in this comment section are people who did not actually want a Tekken story and do not really care about anything going on. This story did good by making sure the people who do actually care are happy.
disappointed that Lidia wasn't involved in the story cause they didn't put her in the game even though it would have been a perfect fit. Also was hoping for more Jun and Reina but it was fun.
I would have never imagined any fighting game story getting to the same level of dmc5😂 it's kinda sad that not everyone will get the t3 references, that final phase music hit so hard i turned off my console and went to the gym
so glad that tekken 8 delivered. I bought it yesterday and its been alot of fun to play dont think I will be putting as much time as I did in sf6 into it though its seems really hard but I am happy to learn the game so I can finally watch some Evo and understand wtf is going on
Tekken is harder but a lot more rewarding I'd say. It's movement is just superb and it's skill floor and skill ceiling are so far apart that you end up with a game that makes you feel like you're always improving, so long as you pay attention to the lessons you learn from each fight. I was planning to wait until the DLC inevitably came and the price went down a bucket load but I may have to just go for it because this looks like everything Tekken 7 should have been.
@@thehorse5307its been 3 weeks and I felt like I know less now than what I did before I ever played. I get to yellow ranks and I can play more its hard to follow, every move looks the same but theres so many different moves and the 3d aspects is kinda of weird, sidestepping is hard to wrap ur ahead around visually. but the game is still really good just personally not for me XD
Funny that the reason this story started cause a dad threw his son off a cliff. Moral of the story: when you have kids don’t throw them off a cliff or they might have secret demon powers
Tekkens story is re re re re peated for like the 5th Tekken game.yes it does get better slightly but falls short every time. If you're not a Mishima or Kazama you're useless and that's all the story has taught me.
