Ah shit, missed this in the list. I think in 5 it had a slight sideways movement, which was Godlike. Also, could link it to a reverse sidekick. Glory days!
Guess this means RIP Baek, they just keep adding all Baek's moves to Hwo. Is it only me who liked Baek much more than Hwo as a character? Baek was serious, wise, badass and looked like a Kung Fu boss Villian (see Hwang Jang Lee), much better character to represent TKD than a cringy kpop idol looking..... ginger(?) (isnt he Korean?)....
So basically he inherited Baek moves also I noticed his hunting hawk got nerfed. It used to knockdown your opponent on the last hit. Do you know why they removed it?
Missing moves: Disrespect/BT 3,4 is now while raising 4,3 Rff 2,4 can be started from RFF df 3 in heat RF f 3 has different properties on block (-6) Heat burst cancel: HB, b RF cancel: RF u3 forward before move ends
So he basically got Baek’s moves with a little more style to it. Not bad I guess. I just hope my high’s and mids aren’t as punishable as they were in 7. One duck or side step and i’m just set up for punishment.
@@mamamia5905 good, that doesn't need to change. He's always been a problem, and no, he's not punishable on the moves that need to be risky, That's a legacy issue.
moves have smaller hitboxes now, so you will be punished very heavily if you're mindlessly pressing. You can step everything of Hwo now, he is very linear which gives good mindgames and counterplay.
0:06 this is nonsense imo. It should be 3,3,4. It is also pointless being able to do on rights stance. Hwoarang complexity comes with managing all stances together.
