I've played King for a few years in tekken 7, but this was still super helpful for learning his new stuff they added in tekken 8. Thank you for being to the point, while also being very clear. Great guide!
thanks for the video. definitely got some good points out of it. some feedback tho: please enable player inputs, sometimes you dont say the input for a move and as a beginner i dont know all his 198 moves by heart
Imo the low out of jaguar sprint plays an important role. People will try to interrupt your sprint with lows, or CH you after you press a button out of the sprint, so it becomes a timing mindgame with how long you hold the sprint armor. The low has crazy range so its the low risk option you use to condition the opponent to block and hold the mixup.
Hey man, nice job! Really appreciate it. Could you make some Game Plan and Approach videos? I really find hard to play against turtle opponents with King.
for female characters you might need to do a microdash or input faster. you can buffer df34 as soon as the 1 input for df21 hits! hope this helps. (coming from a fellow king main)
"It's really hard to make the opponent block" no it isn't, you can either set the opponent to block or you can set the opponent to block on 2nd hit and jab into whatever you want to do. Edit: Bro, you even have the bot to block after 1st hit, why do you hopkick, just jab into whatever shit you want.
if ur reading this, king is easy to play but hes not top tier, hes mid tier, hell almost low tier, hes a grab character, he doesnt do alot of buttons like half the roaster, use ur armor alot and l mean alot....game rewards mashing alot, and when ur king ur going to lose alot of matches....
