He might have the same name, but this EDDY feels very different compared to his Tekken 7 version.
Here's your Anti Eddy Guide for Ling Xiaoyu, focusing on his key moves!
Most important: We cannot float him out of the Negativa (Relax) stance anymore, we have to rely on good, mid hitting punishers!
Other than that, SSR AOP is helping a lot in this matchup. Eddy has some strong tracking tools like df1, but a lot of his moves and strings are rather linear. He is quite punishable as well! Enjoy!

Hey guys, ofc I've seen all your comments regarding matchups and doing video breakdowns for them. All I can say is, never say never, I will not be able to do these anti-character guides right now as I'm preparing for the TWT and these video take A LOT of time to do. But not as different as Jin in Tekken 4 :) Had some xp with Motion Capture for video games and gotta admit even though Namco has always created a seriously fluid and accurate movement animations and overall choreography for Tekkens in the past, (I think they were using MoCap before it was industry standard) They outdid themselves with this one PS. You almost saw me as Leon in these new Resident Evil games :)

When blocking a low when is it the right time to punish a low while doing rising 2 hold for any character ?

This is where you need to know frames! Ws2 hold only works against big lows, ws2 is 22 frames fast so the low you want to punish has to be at least -22! (Like snake edges) 😄
