This channel is a blessing for all incoming mishima players! A lot of older tutorials from tekken 7 aren't as direct, or, it features a lot of tangential rambling. It can be hard to visualize inputs from old reddit threads. I hope all incoming players get to appreciate this catalogue of "mishima 101!"

When I started learning this in T7 for so many years I thought people doing the cancel by inputting crouch dash into a half circle input, but that was a really awkward input on pad, so I couldn't do it consistently, and I was like ok f**k it, I will never be able to use this tech normally... Just a few days ago I learned that you can just hold back to cancel the crouch dash! 😂 I still need to understand the timing for it, I get a lot of B2's and delayed WGF's, this video seems very helpful!
Some people like to do it that way because the half circle back lines up with the timing of the back 2 but I just always found it easier doing back 2. Use the leg twitch tip I showed in the video to help you find the timing, it actually works!
@@Dianatroda After hours of practice I became very comfortable doing it, it's so much easier doing this than doing it with the half circle input. Still need to practice it on P2 side, but yeah. Thank you for this video!
I tend to get this on accident a lot trying to crouch dash into f,f3 with Kazuya lol. I guess later on when i've cleared those input errors i can come back to this to learn how to get ws i guess 😅
good guide but honestly struggling a little bit to do it consistantly on hitbox. Probably skillissue on my part but it feels like I am either doing it too quick or inputting the Wavedash incorrectly because i keep doing B2
as a keyboard player , it is possible! don't give up! i had trouble with execution while i was learning IWS2 with kaz out of wavu because i was pressing b+2 too early. it started to connect after i allowed the cd animation to nearly follow through completely before i cancelled it. additionally, i've experimented with pressing the back key just a couple of frames earlier than 2, and it had connected more consistently.
