JDCR decimated Chikurin earlier in Tekken 8, and he has a decent winrate against him offline (Tekken 7). Win some and lose some. Chikurin also placed 5th I believe in a small but stacked Tekken 8 tournament that Keisuke won. So he's far from unbeatable, and it's too early to call him Korea + Japan's best. Not downplaying him or anything. He's literally been my favorite Tekken player since 2018.

@@mazin9193 Not sure where you saw the word unbeatable in my post. You might want to read that again. For the earlier part of Tekken 8, Chikurin was practicing with what pad works best and learning the new system. I've watched Chikurin since CNT, CBT, and official release. Yeah he was being beaten a lot by a lot of elite players but look at him now. Tekken 7, Chikurin is a TWT champ, JDCR faded and disappeared.

@@johnswick9507 It's a figure of speech meaning "separated himself from other elite T8 players". I think it's early to make statements like that and you're setting yourself up for disappointment when he underperforms in many of the upcoming tournaments. He's one of the best for sure but we're going to need a larger sample to form a more educated opinion as to where he really stands. He dominated Evo Japan, but that's just one tournament and it missed a ton of top players (all tournaments do). Again, I don't mean to downplay him, he's a phenomenal and underrated player, and I would love to see him dominate in the coming tournaments and leave a mark as one of the best Tekken players in history (which JDCR is regardless of his current level) despite showing up late internationally.

@@mazin9193 Missed a ton of top players. Hmm... The only people I could think of is Arslan and Atif Butt. He beat elite players from Korea in a new Tekken 8 system. Those are top players globally. Sure he'll underperform maybe in future tournaments like what happened to him after he won 2019 TWT and a few tournaments in Japan, as all his characters were nerfed and the rise of Pakistani players. But we'll see. He may win it all or he may not. As of now, that's my opinion. The way he plays with this new system, he's on a different level from others.

Why did you care so much about what people thought G ? A win is a win in this game unless you cheat or plug 🤷🏻‍♂️.. But yes I feel like Dragunov is now more balanced than ever, now you really gotta play Tekken when using him rather than relying on that prior roided up version of him before.

Damn straight. I hate Lili but nerfing her is unnecessary. She is beatable. My Feng got nerfed but I don’t mind. I’ll just git gud.

That's because he's still used to playing the broken version of drag .. he isn't doing much thinking because he didn't have to before .. hell adjust and he'll probably be almost just as good in a week ..

He was way too over tuned .. you can see jdcr struggling to come back from the habit of just pressing mindlessly.. hatchet into hatched .. two pob mixed with those lows is just stupid and should never have been in the game .. now he has lows but they are balanced by the other changes .. still stronger than T7

This is what happened when Bamco catered to casuals for nerf. Dragunov is so hard now to win at top level tournaments. Before the nerf, Dragunov is not even dominating tournaments

At mid to high level Drag players now need time to adapt to their character being worse and not just being able to mash their best tools anymore. Or just switch to the new best character until they get nerfed 😂

Well yes, because drag is considerably stronger than the rest of the cast, having multiple tools that were way overtuned. Not to say lili isn't also very good and potentially too strong, just not as ridiculous as drag, azucena and feng.

What needs nerfing? She has strong mix but lacks in ability to put you in a situation where you can be mixed. Dont get my wrong shes strong but not nearly as ridiculous as some of the cast were before this patch.

all her life in tekken, she always sits below the high tier characters, now is her time to shine. and tbh, Lili isnt even broken or OP, say something like that then its clearly a skill issue
