@@LoneTaurus82 Yeah, I hope Zafina can summon spike attacks from underground. She should have an attack where that Azazel Spikes will appear underground simultaneously. It's more on of Azazel's tail with lots of spikes...🤣🤣
@@cybersteel8 That was the case when her movement was top tier in T7, but considering its been greatly reduced now in T8 and with all the offensive pressure other characters in this game can dish out at times she needs it even more now in neutral than before to deal with that. She is mostly a defensive character rather than offensive and that was a great tool in her neutral poke game. I do believe the devs probably also think it would kill the flow of the game since it stops you dead in your tracks on hit in neutral. It did get buffs behind scarecrow far as damage, hit frames and ability to CH knockdown to try to compensate the change but it just doesn't belong behind stance. It's better than not having it all though.
Coming in with the Zafina goods as usual! It's nice that her d3,4 ,F4 into db4 reset for mantis sweep combo similar from the one you showed back in T7 days still works. I did notice that awhile back but often forget to still go for it at times when they don't tech roll. This is some good Oki tech though .Zafina really is awesome in this area. I like all of the follow up options from db4. Will have to drill myself on many of these to build muscle memory for them to have in my toolkit to mix things up a bit when needed. That F1+2 pick up for a heat dash launch combo is really is one to be feared! It is situational like you mentioned on back rolls only but def has huge payoff! Thanks for sharing this!
It helps but knowing matchup knowledge is what’s going to excel you. There is great risk using anyone of these setups because if you miss you will be in trouble.
