To say we were duly impressed by Tekken 8 - again - would be a massive understatement. Read our final hands-on preview to find out why we're so bullish on one of 2024's first major releases. Preview written by Will Borger. #ign #tekken8
FINALLY! Some attention to learning the basics and a proper tutorial. For a game that has the highest skill floor of all fighting games, this was long over due
For sure, mk1 dropped the ball with the kameo stuff imo, alot of people are not fans of the whole assist mechanic in fighting games plus the customization was a huge downgrade from 11
You know, considering how absurdly powerful Jin and Kazuya are, the fact that in-lore, Paul is strong enough to go toe to toe with Kazuya speaks volumes of his strength... He's canonically one of the most powerful Tekken characters in-universe behind the Mishimas.
If you're competitive and interested in FGC, 100%. For a more casual player like me, getting to know the game alone will help a lot if you go out for game conventions (& some public events that is gaming related) as this game will very likely to be played in many places. Let's you meet people and play with them without going in blind.
Demo for this is fantastic and it's amazing how great this generation of Tekken and Street Fighter are like wow they really did well with these games. These days it's rare for the newer games to be this well made.
@@smolltaco5667Take a peek at the comment section. There's bots in here commenting on something unrelated to the video. It's been an issue on here for awhile now.
Gotta love how the start of this scene is a throwback to one of the Tekken 6 trailers where Jin rides a motorbike through a city, being watched by Kazuya. The soundtrack is also similar, amazing
Surprising Tekken is the only 3D fighting game to survive after all this years, and it's hands down the best fighting game out there to me. SF is close.
lesssgooooo tekken 8 looks amazing, huge well done to the whole team! it is like the developers have made ways for people to actually learn and become better at the game rewarding casual players for playing the game, not simply just "play and learn" as theres mechanisms now to help you get better
if Sega or Koei Tecmo want to get back on the map they really need to step up or offer something significantly different Tekken earned its place on the 3D fighter summit
The journey of a team that went through huge downfall after the failure of tekken tag 2 to tekken 8 a visual powerhouse! Huge respect to bandai and team harada lots of love 💕
@@ultimatesora4467 Tag 2 has the best tekken roster easily.. The game actually has Team Battle,Survival & a proper arcade mode with characters endings.. Also stages was better in Tag didn’t need to have 3 volcano levels…
@@nasirbarbee5940 yes, but comparing to the other franchises now its the worst technical-wise and the only one step backwards in relation to the last game
It’s nice to see this game release on only PS5 and Series X, it took long enough. Street Fighter 6 was held back by the PS4 and Mortal Kombat 1 was held back by the Switch.
Can u customize your characters as far as, having freedom to change parts of the clothing? Or is it strict to each outfit being whole? Meaning can you change your shirt, pants, shoes. Colors etc? Remove, gloves, hats, shoes, etc etc.
Yo. Bandai Namco is releasing a Final build preview of the game, but no Tekken 8 character trailers about yoshimitsu or other characters?. ^--- That's a illegal 0:56
I've watched a preview of TEKKEN 8 by a french youtuber (Ayane). Both her video and this one follow exactly the same structure. Down to the same "exclusive" preference for the same character.
