TEKKEN 8 VICTOR ANTI CHARACTER GUIDE! 

Figure out which moves transition into SEN(that's his most dangerous stance) and SSR, block...you can deal with everything. My preferred way is SWL...you get hit by SEN 3+4 and the homing (I think it's SEN 4). This method evades the other moves and you can launch punish every single one of them. I only labbed this stance tho😅

Except that the low crush your 10frame punish. Yet 10frame should deny the powercrush, here is the victor mixup

You are correct. But i think this video is aimed at exactly the people who are struggling with the basic punishment and specifically the lv1 braindead mix, that all victors below fujin are doing. But again, you are correct. And overall, all these videos that describe how to „counter“ a character are only an Intro to the basics and hard knowledge you need to have to even fight a character in tekken. Obviously any guide against a character, no matter how good it is, will never lead to you automatically win every time against a character. You can know every single frame state , every single OS, every single character specific interaction and you still will get hit , mixed and launched. But i get your point.

This video is for people who struggle even beginning to counter Victor. He is a new character, so a lot of Victors get away with constant knowledge checking. IMO the only place you can start to counter a character is with the knowledge. This is where most people are with the match up.

When victor say this, never take victor words. Why? Cause that character is a braindead. So just ignore

E eye stance

Its T8 - you try to break their defense. Be aggressive with jabs, dash block to cover distance, chip with lows. Should make them duck or try to interrupt (probably interrupt with powercrush, knowing that most victor players are new) - then you just punish that. If that still dosent break the turtle, try throws and big lows, or they should be by the wall by then. Applied properly with good timing and a cool head, this should get every victor to rethink their strategy below king ranks.

99% of victor players are AWFUL and are getting carried. You should try to use a safe long reaching move as keep out. You gotta outspam them cuz they have literally ZERO defense and they will try to panic move with expulsiòn. They will start to respect frames and your turns a bit more after you launch their expulsiòn a few times and then you will utterly destroy them cuz they don't know how to play. I've never seen so many red ranks and even ruler ranks with absolutely ZERO idea on how to play and zero fundamentals, getting hard carried by the character. It's like Leroy all over again. Except victor is not that strong. This time it's xioayu and jun..which are 2 times stronger than Tekken 7 launch Leroy. If the devs don't nerf xioayu and jun, I'm fkn quitting the game. There's no point when those 2 exist with their own tiers. If next patch doesn't massively nerf them, TWT will be a guaranteed win for arslan ash with jun and a bit of azucena with her dumb wr. No competition. Hope knee and others don't tier whore and top 8 aren't a bunch of Juns and xioayus

Which one? His normal one (the dagger one) or his Iai one (the knee into sword slash)? His normal one has _no_ tracking, but his Iai one tracks you if you sidestep right.

​@@genzo454no, it tracks. It absolutely tracks. I got hit multiple times when I was basically 90 degrees to almost behind him. The move has a very weird hitbox that is basically his body, kinda like Paul's shoulder, that teleports and clips into models and literally hits from behind. It's so annoying how unbalanced and random this game is. So many characters have literally no counterplay. Like xiaoyu and jun (how on earth does xiaoyu get a safe 10 frame, high,high, mid that can't be stepped, a ridiculous heat smash and a -11 on block low launcher. All while art of Phoenix crushes EVERYTHING, every single high and mid, and 90% of lows as well. There most characters don't have a single mid that hits her during her AoP bs. How on earth does jun get a mid high high string that jails, tracks and is + on block? And her heat smash 100% tracks, has full screen range and heals her on block and does chip?!? It's LITERALLY a free heal and free chip damage every single round. Who is responsible for balancing that such things are allowed? How does devil Jin get a full screen tracking mid heat smash that does stupid damage?!! Why does king's heat smash do like 70 damage and is +on block with a GUARANTEED mix up between an unbreakable grab for 50 damage or a safe mid? People cry about dragunov but HOLY FK, he is game compared to the top tiers. He doesn't get free stuff and he has counterplay. You can step every single attack he does to get + frames and he has AWFUL tracking and mids that are basically highs...the problem with him being that grabs track now. So he is dangerous because if grabs, a universal mechanic and buff to everyone. Like king, getting the FULL chain grab for free if CH). Yeah, Tekken 8 is fun...for now because it's new. But it's a complete and utter mess. Tournaments are gonna be clown shows. The game feels like an alpha for balance. At this point I'd rather get Tekken 7 with Tekken 8 graphics, loading times and net code and keep playing that instead, even with dlc power creep. Oh god... Can you imagine TEKKEN 8 DLC CHARACTERS?!?! 😱 It's over. They are gonna be so busted it's gonna be a nightmare.

@@adeebh1238 up to blue ranks victors are complete scrubs with zero defense, movement or game sense. They entirely rely on moves and gimmicks. Getting attacked? U1+2 power crush or low ch launcher. Footsies? Who needs them, Just spam wr2 or pistol. All attacks have infinite range anyway
