This video helps me so much, I thought I knew punishment on Yoshi, but I literally never use f,d,df, 1 or hopkick. I'm garyu and can't believe it's taken me this long to realize 😂
I believe you’re referring to the low unblockable. It’s full crouch (fc) this simply means stay in crouched position and then press DF1. So the input is ( FC DF1 ) you have to remember though when you’re in (NSS) when means No Sword Stance you won’t be able to do the unblockable launch because without the sword in NSS is a different move.
It’s how you input the move forward , neutral, down, down forward+1. Button notations go as followed 1 square2 triangle 3 x 4 circle. Yoshi’s i17 punisher is f,n,d,df1 so when your opponent’s move is -17 [f,n,d,df1] is how you punish it. I hope this explanation helped and if it didn’t I can try an explain a different way.
