Loving the new moves! These will really help the juggle potential and wall carry. My only grip is that we need new moves and updates to Meditation stance (3+4) and Pogo stance (D1+2). Give 3+4 a scary low or an unblockable high, give any reason to duck for the 3 setup. Id also give D1+2 a few more attacks like that DGF F1+2. Or my favorite, the bad breath unblockable from SFxT. We need some overhauls on some of the lesser used stances!
9:23 Thanks for confirming for us that probably the best grab in Tekken's history does not make a return. That side-grab from Tekken 3 was absolutely insane, and it'd be so cool if it came back. But nope, still replaced by a generic running bulldog.
He looks and sounds so damn cool in this one. Such a dramatic improvement over the T7 design. This might be the first Tekken preorder I will be seriously considering along with the other character designs like Victor as well.
im creaming myself over this, his animation looks so good, although as someone who always go into no-sword stance a lot in tekken 7, this will take a lot of time to get used to
I play Yoshi in Soulcalibur VI and this looks like I would be right at home playing him in T8. Inputs are all different but with a little memorization I'm sure it wouldn't take long to get used to it.
Maybe I am underestimating the new moves, but I just keeping seeing constant nerfs. It is going to be quite the change from T7, which is exciting but hard to really visualize until I can see how the moves fit together.
Its so unfortunate they didnt do it. And i somehow feel like they wont. They could even add a small giveaway like a sound or a slighty different animation to make it less "unfair" but it would be such a cool throw
As a yoshi main, I’m really disappointed with these changes. He still has horrible combo damage but they nerfed flash, QCF 1, KIN f2, DGF 4, and so many other tools. Also they removed many of his important combo options. And all of these nerfs for a character that already has the lowest online win rate in Tekken 7. I hope everything isn’t as bad as it seems. I’d hate to see him be non-viable.
I can't believe they reused the rainbow drop animation. Look at the opponents stance at the beginning, that's the same animation as Tekken 1 and 2. Some cool looking stuff but with all the stuff everyone else has gotten i would have thought an update to a 30 year old animation would be warranted for him
Dude did they remove some of the 10 hit combos?? Yoshi's 10 hit combo on T7 was 3, but on T6 it was 6. Devil Jin has only 1 on T7 it was 2 but on T6 it was 7
@@JakubDi oh no , i really hope they don't remove those, the f,n,d,d/f 2 is the perfect frame trap move in our flowchart and f,n,d,d/f 1 is satisfying whiff punisher only high skilled yoshi can pull off
So db1,1 is gone now? The safe m,m wallsplat? I was worried we loose df 1+2 bc rage art (like we lost the old oni fist b1+2 because of b1+2 rage art..) but losing db1 makes me even more sad since i used it much more than df1+2

He isn't, it's more the other way around as there's tons of stuff in Tekken 7 & new stuff in Tekken 8 that SC6 Yoshi doesn't have. That three hitting spin from Dragonfly is about the only thing that has come from Soul Calibur, and that animation originated from Yoshi's super in SC5. That doesn't mean Yoshi is dumbed down in SC6 as he packs around 300 moves in that game, but he is missing some staple moves that he had once in SC4 which are moves Tekken's Yoshi still holds today, such as Kamikaze. I'm exciting and terrified what SC7 Yoshi is going to be like because to me SC6 Yoshi is the most fun Yoshi I have ever played.
This is SC4 Yoshimitsu with SCBD's A+B+K as a common 1 string ender and more dgf additions, only SC6 flairs he shared is 3B for KIN & better beyblade moves from dgf
2:42 flashing steel is now df2+3, instead of f,n,d,df +2...? ..wow. That makes it easier. Oh wait it is a It is a weaker alternative to the commands. So the commands are still the same they just have weaker versions with different commands.
@@JakubDi hopefully cd2 is guaranteed and it becomes a launcher that way. Opponent is left in an animation that leads me to believe that’s what it would be but idk lol. Also maybe on CH it crumples
@@jimdino77 but now you don’t have to respect flash if his sword is out. Also NSS has sweep and other things to worry about. NSS has always been better anyways but now it’s like regular flash is nerfed for no reason
@@Tantotron_ yeah, the "tink" sounds. overall it seems like sounds lack impact/sharpness, and they're too heavy on the bass. it makes everything sound somewhat muffled
Disappointment(((( They didn't change almost anything. Several new tricks just look different but make no real difference in a fight compared to what was in 7. And most of the combos with damage higher than 50% still start from high or mid which can be easily blocked most of the times ((((( Other characters can easily make serious combos starting with a simple low kick...Yoshi remains quite linear when it comes to combos.....We'll see how it plays him after the release. Perhaps this is a wrong impression
this game is totally crap , it doesnt feel like tekken , excessive animations during the fight , unecessary heat systems , unecessary players audio , unabel to see players clearly , they are changing the entire camera angle during the gameplay , tekken 7 was 10 times more better than this , it was so clear , no silly animations , just real fighting experience ....i dont know how in the world people are liking it...!!
checking out in t7, it seems like most of the simplified moves grant faster frame (2-3 frames) when executed in the old fashion. i also like how it seems like a lot of moves transition into NSS now
Yea… it’s boarderline underwhelming, hopefully I’m misinterpreting the move list. Wish I waited to see the trailer before looking at these nerfs 😅. My hype has dwindled
