Heichachi: And then one day, I will throw you off a helicopter into a volcano. Maybe even throw you out off a space shuttle, then have you burn in atmospheric re-entry. Jin: ......Wut? Heihachi: What?
@@azazel166I dont think I can classify him as good. He still had ulterior motives when he trained Jin His cruelty is part of why I think he is an excellent teacher though
“Wait, did you say lover-“ Heihachi: Do you really want me to elaborate on that part?! Do you want to know how many uncles and aunts you actually have that are older and younger than you, boy!?
He learns how to love from jun He learns how to destroy from heihachi He learns friendship from hwoarang He learns who his is father from Paul 🤷🏾♂️ basically this is our way of seeing Jin, before he actually turns into devil Jin
I realized that this is the same Heihachi character trait. He wants to tear down Jin apart and build him back completely, the same purpose that he wants to do with the world.
At the time where Heihachi actually treats Jin as his grandson. VERY strict, VERY harsh, but he wanted to help him. It really is sad because Jin does loved and care for Heihachi, its a real shame Heihachi doesnt return that feeling at all. He was pretty cool in this scene, a strict grandparent.
I feel like Heihachi believes that his punishment IS love. The pain he dishes out is a gift he gives to his descendants and his duty as an elder. To teach as he was taught.
Keep in mind that Heihachi is 69 years old and ripped like this. Jin is a scrawny 15 year old with a mountain of muscles as a grandpa. Heihachi Mishima motivates me to get in shape. I wear a shirt with his tiger logo on the back.
They should've gone for the lovable anti-hero for Heihachi. I really wanted to see him in the good light. Wanting to do everything to save the world, even killing his family to save the world from the Devil -- but feeling pain from the inside. Some subtlety and it would've worked wonders.
@@adrianb714 they used Taiten kusunoki for the Japanese voice actor and S. Hiroshi Watanabe for the English voice actor meaning out of the two one of them may return to do the voice going forward for the new game …..even better if they continue the Netflix series they wouldn’t need to recast heihachis voice actor
I always found it a shame that Heihachi was a straight-up villain. With a little more nuance, he would've been a compelling anti-hero. But it's hard to feel bad for him when he gets killed by someone just as evil and ruthless as he is, no matter how sympathetic Tekken 7 tried to make him seem.
I always found heihachi to be one of the more anti-villain type characters that over age he calmed his ways and focused it into finding ultimate power so that none could challenge him he just didn’t expect his son to be on the same path all while trying to kill heihachi as well and then the cycle constantly repeated itself with each new Mishima discovered
@@v-g-lant I mean, all his arcade endings involved him taking over the world with an iron fist. It's stated by pretty much everyone that his path leads to a world overrun by darkness. His rivalry with his son was basically evil vs evil.
@@riverbecomesastorm375 but everything was chillin until kazuya showed up ……🤔 come to think of it everything truly started messing up when Kazuya got rid of heihachi that’s when ties got cut and new alliances formed hence why we started this anime in the 3rd tournament
@v-g-lant Um, no. I think Heihachi was a power-hungry tyrant even back then. His wife put herself by his side for the purpose of assassinating him for that specific reason, no?
Kazana style is for warm-up at best 😂😂 that part was actually the truth. In front of Mishima style, I don't think Kazama style is that good. Couldn't play the game with Kazama style without losing multiple times (heihachi was my main)
