I know I learned how to defend in Tekken by holding back the invincibility encounter in people when they tried. I made it up to at least 23 ranks or higher before they close down
What's with high rank players losing to spammers LOL It's like they're so use to high level they can't deal with spam, they always move to much. Just wait until he does a red and punish.
its because tr is mich different game. You have to have a different mindset when you play rev then when you do when you play tag 2. So i think most of them keep playing as if it were tag 2.
I cannot wait for these spam players to get Tekken 7 when it comes out and get annihilated by a proper Tekken title no cheap mechanics can help them then

Craig Burns but you too weren't you spamming at the beginning?they are beginners man,i used to spam 1 button and through patience i learned all the moves of the characters,juggling and respecting the opponent.....and losing is your fault,don't try to blame the spammers,you just couldn't block their spam and you lost,all spamming moves are blockable so basically you are doing something wrong,no h8 m8
Nope absolutely not I made sure to learn my characters movesets, combo strings, etc. before fighting online I would be embarrassed and understand my opponents frustration fighting cheaply online. Some of them are probably not beginners playing 1000+ matches online they just don't care and with poor net coding, lag and frame rate not always easy to counter a spammers BS.
Craig Burns most of the people i have seen complaining about the lag it turned out to be fairly well and i couldn't see where the lag was,true lag appears once every 1000 years

Rip was an evo champ in Tekken. Revo also messes with a lot of core Tekken mechanics, mainly the offense aspect of it, when they introduce that invincible move. Sure it is punishable afterwards, but it allows for a free on-reaction counter and removes a lot of punishes so that where they worked before as punish options do not work now. Like Jin 1,2,3. It puts the opponent in block stun giving them minimal counter options. If Jin chooses to follow-up they can counter it with the invisi move.

either 1(left punch), or 2(right punch) or a simultaneous press of 1+2. The first button you hit will be the one counted towards whether or not it breaks depending on the throw the King player chooses to do. You have to learn which is which and know your options and ultimately guess.
Had to go back and like this video for the comments alone. For the life of me, I can't understand why I'm so addicted to TR despite all the bs that goes on in the matches (mostly rank).
+Marcal Bell i don't understand everyone's hate on spammers,spamming just proves that you are new to the game and in fact it's easy to counter,pro players never let spam unpunished,so spam works on other new players only,so let them new players spam each other and learn that in fact there are other ways too,i used to spam 1 button only and through great patience in the game i did learn all the moves of other characters and as well as juggling,i can't say that i am the best now but i am decent
Would you happen to know how to break out of King's series of grabs? I just mash and hope I get lucky I'll get out. Otherwise it's always pleasant to keep a King out with Asuka's legs.

paskiz That slide kick Law does puts the opponent in a tripping animation so it gives you just enough time for a down + 3. So yeah that follow up hit will always land.
Can you help me out? I'm a Law (few others) player and I never played the Mishima clan. I've resorted to learning Kazuya and using lasers when zoners try to play keepaway only for me to get hit with b1+2 or uf4,4,4,4 every time I go in. It kills the game for me.

Your problem "WILL" be solve by "SIDESTEP" . as you can see you cant sidestep properly .... sidestep in time to counter attack from centerside of your opponent ... and while kazuya is in the air flying you must sidestep or run to kazuya and jump with attack him above .....
+Xman It happens, not everybody is fully warmed up at the beginning of a session as seen here. He lost to an idiot before he even got a chance to adjust.
+Xman What excuses did he make? He may have whined but it is very hard to fight against these types of players. Some of these idiots on TR or TTT2 ranked, they play in a way that's very difficult to fight against. They don't follow frames, properties, or anything. Namco admitted that the power crush move wasn't very good saying it had a lot negative feedback. Although the opponent isn't very good, this Kazuya player used it rather well. Rips mistake was underestimating him. But judging him over this video is pretty ignorant. Fight him in a ft3 and come back.
Blacc Steel Sometime I mannage to 3+4 at the last second(on the wall) then I launch a combo.I play armor king he is pretty good against law players he has a faster low then the dragon tail and when I get a Law player to the wall it's over because I stomp them until they loose. The good thing is they are spamming to so it doesn't matter.
+YungNiplz no you don't have to buy them,you get tickets on events and i think they give you 5 every once in a while,i dun remember every when,so if you value your tickets you pretty much have infinite tickets,you just wait for your coins to load up and you use your tickets on newbs such as the one this guy played,easy kazuya 2 moves,side step laser block red.....it's easy from that point on,you can either interact with juggles,red what ever you like
FYI, sidestepping laser CAN get you killed. Someone suggested it IN this vid then I did..and it tracked. It tracks one way and Kazuya can make it go the other way, so sidestepping standing laser is 50/50 guess
I can't relate to this, do to you just being bad. I mean come on! Laser, duck. Flying Laser, Side Step. Invincible attack, block to juggle punish. It's not rocket science, it's just Tekken.
you do you know hes an evo champion double law player do your information first and it doesn't matter who you are spammers will always have a way to fuck you up that's just how tekken revolution is
Bottom line... People who use Law, King, Kazuya, Jin and Devil Jin will most likely spam the same combos, juggles or special attacks and laser attacks, making them predictable and arrogant. I love beating down some Law spammers. Dumb little kids who think they can play, hmth, the fucking CPU plays better than most players.

side stepping doesnt always work if the match has bad connection but kazuyas laser is easy to read if he flys up run towards him and get ready to grab or use a combo if he pulls his fists in towards his chest duck and run forward and get ready to block his power attack then grab easy as that also law is easy to predict for his stupid little pull back and kicks but thats a whole different story
