King and Yoshimitsu are the real good guys from Tekken.

My favorite thing about king (besides the fact that as a kid I thought he literally had a jaguar’s head) is that he’s based on a real monk who wrestled to make money for disenfranchised children ❤

I love Kings story. We see King try to save his orphanage and succeed, but has one of his orphanes die, goes into a depression until Armored King saves him. He gets his orphans a Christmas but dies in a fight with Ogre. Then one of the orphanages takes up the mantle, gets trained by armored king, that armored king dies by Marduk. King goes through this path of wanting to kill Marduk but stops because he be putting his family in the same pain as he had endured TWICE. Turns the other cheek and forgives Marduk like how King 1 would have. Learns that a new Armored King is actually the brother to the first Armored King and rivals him. Then in Tekken 7, King is trying to bring everyone together which results in him getting the money for their hospital bills. Lol god King should be the main focus.

I’ve learned that King was inspired to a Japanese wrestler who wears a jaguar mask (Satoru Sayama) and to a Catholic priest (Fray Tormenta) who joins wrestling to support an orphanage, and that’s why in his early endings there are kids. I could say he’s one of the kindhearted characters and idc would not agree with me.

Heir to the throne. He's really King the second. Raised in King's orphanage, he was 24 years old when the original King was killed. He put on the mask and assumed the role of King's successor, in order to honor his mentor and save the orphanage.
