HYEonDEATHROW thank so much brother, appreciate the feedback!!! The hot glue is holding up AWESOME so far and is super quick and easy, no "set time" required. 😱🙋🙋😲😲😲😵😵😎💪👊👊
Charlie Hall that's so awesome to hear my friend!!! Appreciate the feedback. I really owe Vanning from the Arrma Forum for sharing this tip with me 😂. I love how fast it sets and gets you back out and ready to go. Thanks for the comment Charlie, much appreciated. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Aaron Weycker thanks so much Aaron!!! The MT seems to just float compared to my other rigs, truly a pleasure to bash😁. The hot glue is so quick and easy bro. Using it with drywall mesh supposedly works even better from what I'm told. I dread using shoe goo. Just gets old.🙋🙋😲😲😲😨😵😵😎💪👊👊
KillerOffRoadHobbyz thanks so much brother👍👍!!! The MT likes getting acrobatic as you know...Lol. Such a FUN basher no doubt😵. Hope things dry up soon. We gotta hook it up again when we can find time Gary.🙋🙋😲😲😲😱😵😵😎💪👊👊
RedBeard RC thanks so very much brother!!! She does soar nicely at this spot 😱. 4s is definitely quick, but I'm having to get good run ups and sorta nail the throttle. Hoping to try 5s sometime. 6s is overkill for this platform IMHO unless geared down or running lower KV setup. Think it might be perfect with this 2200kv Max8 combo and 18 tooth.🙋🙋😲😲😲😵😨😎💪👊👊
Peter Weber thanks Peter, appreciate it brother!!! It was a short but truly FUN session. Wished I'd had another pack, but didn't have time to prepare for this one. Sometimes last minute bashes turn out to be most enjoyable...Lol.🍻😁🙋🙋😲😲😲😱😵😵😎💪👊👊
Oh man I just love your driving skills... From ridiculous aerial manoeuvres with wheel landings, to running the rim of the berm... Damn man you're good ! Hot glue gun : one of my favourite all time inventions... I've used mine for so many years, on so many things... And also on RC bodies.... So versatile, quick & easy, removes when wanted, has slight flex etc etc.... It works awesome for patching and stitching RC bodies ! I still like that those shockwaves are impressive.... Might have me some one day 👍
RC OFF-ROAD DOWNUNDER thanks so much Paul 😀👍👍. This was a short, but AWESOME fun Tekno bash!!! The Shockwaves really are such a KILLER bash tire😱. Perfect size, weight, and cushion for the really rough landings, very forgiving with great in air control. I had serious doubts about the seemingly shallow tread pattern like many others, but they have exceeded my expectations on all the RCs. Really appreciate the feedback brother regarding the hot glue. Wish I'd discovered it sooner 😨!!! So quick and easy. I'm doing more glueing today actually...Lol. Happy bashing bro and thanks again for your really kind words.🍻🙋🙋😲😲😲😵😵😎💪👊👊
You are most definitely one of my favorite new rc channels and towards the top of the list of best bashers doing things like you are. From the most helpful tips, most unbelievably insane skills mixed with the killer bash spot... sweet rigs. Thanks for the content as always
Love those big stall out airs...like around 5:00 minute mark. Nice tip on the hot glue body repair technique! I will keep that in mind for the future;) Rich I have to say, you have such a great attitude when you drive/bash and even crash. It's all about having fun. Bash on my friend!
sRCparadise thanks SO much brother!!! This was a short, but super fun last minute bash bud😀. Really appreciate your kind words Steven. Too me it really is about fun and good times. Chance to forget about any worries and just enjoy.🍻🙋🙋😲😲😲😵😨😎💪👊👊
KILLERWOOD RC NETWORK thanks so much for the kind words brother!!! I will say the Tekno makes short work of the bigger jumps 😱. So easy to flip around and control and still quick on 4s!!! Definitely a FUN capable rig. Happy bashing brother!!!🍻🙋🙋😲😲😲😨😵😵😎💪👊👊
Great solo bash! You can tell you have that place dialed in. Nice tip from vanning about the hot glue. I have an old Chevy body that I will be trying this on. My stock Kraton body is almost 3 years old and all I did was shoe goo and drywall tapped the whole body. I guess the hot glue is more of a spot fix than a whole body reinforcement. You are smooth like butta my friend!
Stewdogg Stew thanks so much brother, the Tekno was feeling dialed in again 😵. The Shockwaves truly are the best tire I've tried with it thus far IMHO. Shoe goo and drywall tape still works magic for repairs and prevention. I just hate using it...Lol. Think Vanning is using industrial hot glue with drywall tape for reinforcing. The hot glue works so fast it's awesome. Hope all is well brother, itching to run Angie's new V3 Talion 😱😱😨. At work getting busy ATM.😥😥🍻😎💪👊👊
EstaboHill -Rc- LMAO 😂!!! Thanks so very much brother. It's all good so long as you're having fun my friend 👍👍. I definitely have my share of bad driving moments 😱. The hot glue has been working great, wish I'd known about it sooner. Happy bashing my friend!!!🍻🙋🙋😲😲😲😵😵😎💪👊👊
Anthony Arnold thanks brother!!! The hot glue works well with drywall mesh tape, too I'm told. It's super quick and ready to roll in just minutes. The MT is BADASS no doubt 😱🙋🙋😲😲😲😵😎💪👊👊
Rc Fun thanks so much brother, I definitely was feeling it in the FUN zone 😱!!! The Tekno felt very dialed in and ready for flight. Truly was worth stopping by for a quick rip. The hot glue is so quick and easy!!! Happy bashing brother.🙋🙋😲😲😲😵😵😎💪👊👊
I think you topped the last video where I commented best bash to date lol! Rich it feels like every video you make catches more air haha. Your the king of the ring man, super skilled and you've got those jumps nailed to the tee. Great video, thanks for posting :-)
Tom Tracks thanks so much Tom, really appreciate that brother!!! Felt awesome to get this fun run in on an otherwise cold and cloudy day. The Tekno handles so KILLER off the jumps, really impressed me this bash. Truly is a well balanced BEAST!!! Just so darn smooth and forgiving. Thanks again for the kind words bro.🍻🙋🙋😀😲😲😲😵😵😎💪👊👊
Tdogg916 RC Bashing 🍻 thanks brother...Lol!!! I wished I had 2 packs, was itching to moon launch, but had fun while it lasted 😵😵😱. Straightening the center driveshaft made a big difference...Lol. Hope we can hook up again soon brother. Just need the rain to stay away. Talk soon bro.🙋🙋😲😲😲😨😎💪💪💪💪👊👊
Sorry for the late comment but I just keep watching this video , can't wait to show u my MT410 when it freaking quits snowing around here! I got a spot I'm thinking of like u have never seen before , it's these huge grass hills that should make for some sick jumps and crazy bashing 😁👊✌️
Midwest Boss that's AWESOME brother!!! Sounds like a great spot to just go after it at 😨. Hopefully the snow will subside and you can go rip it up soon. It's dumping rain here in Northern CA again 😂. Had to sneak in a quicky earlier...Lol. Happy bashing brother!!! 🙋🙋😲😲😲😵😵😎💪👊👊
Rich Duperbash ya I'm in Nebraska and it's just been snowing like crazy and super cold out , we do have some good days in the forecast coming up so hopefully I'll get out for the maiden voyage with the beasty MT , I'll definitely let you know when I got some video posted 👍
Midwest Boss I used 2 separate thick layers of it over a 3 day period and it definitely helped reinforce the body without adding a ton of weight. I still highly recommend using the adhesive felt blanket I mentioned near the shock caps drive into the body. The Flexseal is actually liquid rubber and remains somewhat flexible after drying. It definitely helps absorb energy. Shoe Goo and drywall mesh tape makes things much more rigid, but takes longer and can be a pain...Lol.🍻😎💪👊👊
Nice tips and sweet rips! I will have to check out that felt pad stuff. I just used some epoxy to fill some holes in my Losi 3xle body. Will try hot glue if the epoxy don't hold up. Had to do a re-watch on that backflip at 4:20!!! 🤤🤤🤤 SUPER SMOOTH MAN!
Bruce Burlingame thanks so much brother!!! The Walmart felt blankets have worked wonders for completely stopping body damage from the shocks and towers. So far so good with the hot glue, super quick and easy, no "set time". Works with drywall mesh tape also. That's funny about the rewatch...Lol😱. I do that all the time when watching other people's vids. Happy bashing brother!!! 🍻🙋🙋😲😲😲😵😨😎💪👊👊
Hey rich could you possibly do a video on how you clean and do maintenance on your rc's? Maybe a video idea down the line if that's something you would wanna do.
A P.A.C FILM yeah I found it hardware. It's called Felt Blankets, self adhesive 3"X5" sold in 2 packs for like 3-4$. Comes in tan or dark brown in a blue package. It's made for going under appliances...etc.😎💪👊👊
Hiya Rich I have similar pads on all of em, Cant live without em. Im gonna give that glue gun a shot, I been using the clear epoxy. slow and sometime Messy. Good Stuff Bro !
Phill Stoffer thanks so much Phill👍👍. The glue gun is so fast and easy. Better if you put some drywall mesh in there too. Yeah the felt pads work awesome. They support the body and disperse energy in addition to stopping punctures. I'm surprised more people haven't tried them yet 🍻🙋🙋😲😲😲😵😵😎💪👊👊
Rich without a doubt you are the king of air...hat off for you my dear friend. Thoose Shockwaves are a killer on that truck. Awsm tip about the H-glue pistol 🤣, will give it a try 😍. Like you said..i rather bash 2 min of bad xxx bashing then 2 packs of mediocre one 🤗
Tp-Parts Rc-Xtreme thanks SO much Thomas 😂😂!!! That is quite the compliment from my fav basher😱. The Shockwaves have totally exceeded my expectations on the Tekno and the Arrmas. Thanks to Vanning from the Arrma Forum for sharing his hot glue tip with me👍👍. Hope all is well brother and thanks again for being such a cool friend and constant inspiration.🍻🙋🙋😲😲😲😁😎💪💪💪💪👊👊
72nivo thanks so much Camo, the Tekno fly's so darn smooth!!! Hey Matt from RC Anonymous fitted his Outcast shock caps on his Typhon. Might need the V2 standoffs for a solid fit minus the plastic cap protectors of course.🍻🙋🙋😲😲😲😵😵😎💪👊👊
Rich Duperbash yeah !! I saw that Rich. I didn’t think they’d fit by looking at them but they obviously do !! sweet 🤘🏻👍🏻 I haven’t got any spare laying around so I’ll have to wait for Tower. I’m spewing I lost a bladder and there on backorder 😳 Cheers bruzz !!
72nivo that sucks brother!!! I've spent so much time searching for lost parts 😨😨. I had a Tekno spring vanish into thin air at our jump track. Looked literally everywhere during a bright sunny day and finally had to leave....Lol. Might check your LHS to see if another brand might work. I've had to rely on eBay when parts are on BO, sometimes with good results. Cheers bro.😎💪👊👊
Nice BASH bro..I think 5s would be awesome for that truck..what was name of cushions?..thanks for tips and shout out bro..will be trying the hot glue with piece of lexan for bad spots..
RCbashing the KRATON thanks brother, shout out well deserved bud 👍. The felt pads are sold at Walmart, 3.5" x 6" two packs in a blue package. Called "Felt Blankets" by Waxman. The adhesive sticks Crazy good if you clean with alcohol first. Definitely need to try 5s💪. Not sure if you heard that Hobbico filed for bankruptcy today 😥. Not sure what this is going to mean for Arrma, but doesn't sound good. BASH-ON Brother!!! 🙋🙋😲😲😲😵😵😎💪💪💪👊👊
super movies from the flying MT410. Recently also owner of a MT410. man what a beast is that. what is the article number of the proline bodyclips? would also like to purchase it. Continue filming.
pascal schmitz thanks brother, the Tekno MT is a BEAST 🐂!!! The Proline mounts are Tekno SCT410 #6272-00. Way better for keeping the body on IMHO.🙋🙋😲😲😲😵😵😎💪👊👊
Great bash brother. You shouldn’t be breaking bodies. I never see Angie D break no bodies. Maybe she will teach to the insider😱😱😱. Great Info Rich. Keep up the awesome vids 👍👍👍👊👊
Kenny mph Melanko thanks so much brother...Lol😵. Angie D 😍 is full of great ideas. She just helped me swap the pinion on the Talion last night. Totally digs using tools. Wish my boy was hands on, too.🍻🙋🙋😲😲😲😱😵😎💪👊👊
Your videos are great.honestly the greatest bashing I've ever seen on here..hey I have to ask what's the pinion size your using..I just built mine I have a 16th Robinson racing.i do not have a bash area like you.however to get the most out of this truck I'm trying to build it right the first time.(lol).right now tekin tekno hardened steel gear. Tekin 2000kv truggy motor and tekin gen 3 esc, protek 170t Chad Bradley team edition servo.i also have castle 2200kv and castle's(blue) 6s esc(castle/traxxas emaxx motor and esc.i wanted to give tekin a try first..new badlands new trenchers and shockwaves (vented not taped)I have for the terrain around here..I havnt ran it yet. (Super cold and snowing NY winter..what pinion do you think would be a decent #?16th or sho I ld it be higher..it will be used in a smaller setting them your bash spot..obviously I could careless about top speed.i want to get the most out of this tekin 2000kv and gen3 esc..any info let me know..KEEP MAKING THESE KILLER BASHING VIDEOS THEIR AWESOME!!!.
kevin shufs Thanks for the kind words brother!!! I'm running an 18 tooth with my Hobbywing Max8 combo, 2200kv on 4s. 2000-2200kv is optimal for this lightweight ripper. I generally gear my rigs to about 140-150F motor temps during warmer months. Obviously that will vary some depending on ambient temps. 16-18 is a good gear choice for either of those motors. You could probably safely drop a 20 tooth in with the 2000kv on 4s anyways if you wanted to increase your top speed eventually. That 16 will probably keep you plenty happy unless you go to wide open areas and want higher MPH. The Tekno MT is BADASS 😵. Enjoy!!! 🙋🙋😲😲😲😨😱😎💪👊👊
I really like your videos and tips who are perfect for noobs like me. I Only have a Kraton V3 but now im decided to get and build an MT410. it is going to be painful for my wallet but I want to bash like you, Hello from Guadalajara México
Hey man, first off love your vids! I got a Kraton last month and it’s been a blast running it all stock on 6s. I’ve been wanting to gear it up from the stock 12t though so what’s the tallest gear I could run while maintaining reasonable temps and torque? Thanks for your time!
zaycheous vaughn thanks for the compliment and Congrats on the Kraton BEAST 🐂!!! I say 16 tooth Robinson Racing Extra Hard, #1216. Just check your temps to be safe, especially if you go will heavier/taller wheels.🙋🙋😲😲😲😱😵😵😎💪👊👊
Jake Daniels thanks brother!!! I used Proline body posts intended for a Slash Platinum 4x4 and bolted them to the rear tower through the stock body mount holes. The front end was a bit trickier. Used 3/4 x 3/4" angled aluminum bolted to the tower using the upper shock bolts, then bolted the Proline plastic body mount and posts to that so it would have some flex for impacts. Believe I used 2mm tall 3M aluminum spacers to fill the small gap on underside of the Proline mounting holes.🤔🙋🙋😲😲😲😵😵😎💪👊👊
Six Shooter thanks so much brother!!! This darn MT definitely seems to float off the jumps😱. Really is a wonderful rig for this spot. Happy bashing brother!!! Appreciate the kind words bro.🙋🙋😲😲😲😨😵😵😎💪👊👊
Love The GREEN...GREEN like the $$ We spend on R/C... Keeping FAST TRACK open...Some info on hot glue Rich...If it gets cold it becomes brittle.....I use some chit called E6000 craft epoxy I think it is... Need epoxy that gives a bit IMO
Airborne Fister thanks brother, I really dig this metallic green, too. I think there's different type of glues to try out. The Stanley stuff seems to have a smidge of flex to it. I'll look for the E6000. Appreciate the tip brother.🙋🙋😱😲😲😲😵😵😎💪👊👊
What's up my friend. It's been a while. Great bashing and landings. I'll look into that hot glue. Very cool. I'd been a while for me. What's your favorite basher so far in vehicle? I'm looking to buy the tekno rc ET48.3. But it's sold out everywhere. And it's freaking cold over here in new York with lots of snow:(
Family Fun R.C. thanks brother!!! I still like my Truggified Typhon the best overall. It's fast as hell, fly's awesome, and is tough as nails. Sadly, looks like Hobbico filed for bankruptcy today 😥😥. Not sure what that means in the near future, but sure doesn't sound good.🙋🙋😲😲😲😵😵😨😎💪👊👊
Rich Duperbash hobbico bankrupt??? Oh no. Do they own Arrma? I heard they had to stop selling the Nero since Traxxas sued them. Hopefully that is not the reason why.
Bakerboyzzz RC yes, they own Arrma from what I understand 😥. I'm sure the suit didn't help, but think they're doing a major restructuring or going under??? 😱😎💪👊👊
Rich Duperbash OMG. What suit? What happened. Please don't tell me that. If I can't get my hand on the et48.3. I'll just get the Losi eight Truggy. Actually I want on tekno website and they don have them in stock. But no deal ands no free shipping. I might have no choice but order it from them.
kjd15328va you can swap diffs no problem, but 3.8s are WAY too big if running Typhon towers, arms, links, shocks. Even when Truggified with Kraton hexs, axels, hubs....3.8s hit the body and wreak havoc on the shocks, don't get proper chassis slap if any at all.😱😲😲😲😵😎💪👊👊
Always more Gas !!!!😈😈😈🤘🤘😎😎😎😎.Solid vid Rich 👑👑👌👌😎😎🤘🤘🤘👊👊👊 Some great tips there with the hot glue !!😃😃😃 That biker stood no chance against the 410 weapon 💪💪💪💪🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘😎😎😎😎 The shockwaves are doing AWESOME 😎😎😎. Damn you were sending it today brother !!!😃😃😃🤘🤘🤘🤘. I think the Mt410 is just ment to fly 😍😍😍🤘🤘🤘🤘. 5s bro seriously.. 5s 😨😨😨🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘😉😉😉😀😀😀😀
Rc Anonymous thanks so much Matt!!! The MT410 definitely pops off the jumps easily and fly's killer with the lightweight Shockwaves😨. The hot glue works great, quick and easy 👍👍. Definitely need to try a 5s soon. Really needs a touch more power 💪💪💪💪. 6s is a bit much with this Max8 2200kv combo geared up anyways IMHO. 🙋🙋🍻😲😲😲😵😱😎💪👊👊
I was going to ask you have you seen any of mark horns parts he makes for the arrmas he’ makes some pretty slick stuff updated bulkheads and bunch of stuff??
jeepertim yes I had heat issues on 6s during the summer, but I was reluctant to gear down and running Backflips wheels. My temp pen is a Horizon Dynamite. Small but accurate DYN2529.😎💪👊👊
Derek Quinones I've heard he's making nice stuff. Hobbico just filed for bankruptcy today 😥. I'm not buying anything Arrma until I find out what the future holds. Just got a V3 Talion like 3 days ago...Lol. Also more Voltage upgrades.😱😨😲😲😲😎💪💪👊👊
Hey Rich. Now that I think of it, you should have a disclaimer in the beginning of your videos that states "I'm not responsible for any damages done of any driver that are inspired of my driving techniques. Viewer discretion is advised" 😆😆😆😆😆
Chris Watson haven't used plasti dip. I'm guessing they are radically different though, as Flexseal is liquid rubber. Make sure to use original black colored Flexseal if you try it, the clear type sorta sucks...Lol. It doesn't tack as well and tends to run and spray fibers everywhere. 😱😨😨😎💪👊👊
_kekz_13 _ I'd say the Proline Shockwaves overall. They're not awesome on longer grass, but excel everywhere else. dBoots Backflips are also good, but much heavier with no offset. Badlands 3.8s (originals) are good too, just a bit small.😎💪👊👊
BADDAZZ GARAGE LMAO!!! I like it Glenn...Lol. 6s for high speeds and HUGE airs 😨😨😱. Hope all is well brother. Almost done watching your rebuild upload. Killer stuff my friend!!!👍👍😵😵😵😲😲😁😎💪👊👊
Rich Duperbash oh ok i was just going to do a clip were im watching a vid of yours and i turn to camera saying hey guys im just watching rich duperbash the best driver on youtube then say lets go bashing! I was not going to watch a whole vid of yours! Only about 10 seconds!! But no problems wont do it!
Rich Duperbash the vid was going to start with me watching you on youtube then i turn to camera amd say hey guys im just watching rich duperbash the best driver on youtube then say lets go bashing!! Do you understand ? Not watching a whole vid!! I emailed you yesterday about it!! Its like a shoutout to be specific!!
Chicago Town I honestly don't have a favorite. The Kraton is superior for MONSTER air and true high speed bashing IMHO, but the Tekno is far lighter and acrobatic. Really enjoy both of them honestly. I'm constantly switching off cuz I get bored easily and enjoy the challenge of changing rigs mid-bash. The Tekno is more fun for smaller bash spots and much faster on 4s. You need 6s to really get the Kraton moving.🙋🙋😲😲😲😱😵😵😎💪👊👊
Rich Duperbash thanks i have tje kraton and i do get big air bit like you get bored of the same rigs need something that will hold its own so mt410 here i come
