Vas, I run the standard badlands 3.8 on mine and also run the shockwaves for hard bashing. They are both perfect on this truck. I encourage you to try them. Also tekno has the best stock suspension tune out there hands down. Glad you finally got one, my favorite rig ever!!! It drives unlike any other truck but when you get the feel for it nothing will ever feel like the mt410 imo.

I tried lots of tires on my mt410 and the proline shockwaves are the best. Perfect size for that mt.

Love your fan club, Vas! I had the same issue with the stock servo horn after 6 packs into it. Metal servo horn and wheelie bar is a must but it took me awhile to get to that point. Love how those wheels are performing with it. Thought it would be too much weight for it but it's looking good. Always run mine on 4S. Never ran mine on 3S but after seeing this I may have to try it. Yes finally!! I'm not surprised the servo horn stripped out it's the only weak point on the kit and maybe the shock caps and plastic spur . I'm quite surprised it was so peppy of 3S too. Those huge tires can be difficult to balance the throttle when in the air. I'd go with some classic badlands much easier to handle especially when you go up to 4S. Cant wait to see a proper bashing video your going to have a blast with this rig!

Just got the max 8 combo for my Kagama, and i only have one 4s battery. It's a brand new truck so i have no idea how long the battery will last, and my bash spot is somewhere i walk to. So i always keep a second battery for driving home (with my old truck the Granite) The manual says jack-all about what cell batteries are supported, so i didn't know if it was okay to put a single 3s in there for the drive home. Because Team Corally say the RTR is a 4-6s vehicle, and the stock ESC is supposed to be a rebranded HW Max 8, so i kind of worried that the ESC wouldn't like 3s and maybe crap its pants or something. Good to see you ran 3s just fine. Now i can finally take the truck out for the maiden voyage. Stupid brand new ESC fan doesn't spin though. I guess it's faulty unless HW is using weird temperature sensors to only run the fan when it's hot, but that sounds stupid. An ESC will always get hot. I guess i just got a dud. I sure hope it's a standard size fan. Oh well. Thanks for this video allaying my fears of running on 3s.

Loved the vid. My mind is blown you can push those heavy wheels around on 3s. I am building one to strictly run on 6s with those wheels. I don't mind having to much power as I can turn it waaay down if I have to. The point of the build is to have ultimate options. The kids going wild makes the video. I was one of those kids once, you probably just birthed 30 RC enthusiasts there.

I bought a set of the Trencher HP & have been hugely disappointed. I could live with the lack of any useful "give" in the rubber if they weren't so heavy. Great looking truck, that body looks killer. 👍😊👍

As john sorensen says, the servo horn is a known weak spot. I didn't bother with stock and installed the aluminium one when I built it. I mostly drive it on 4S. Sometimes 3S, but I think 5S would be the sweet spot for it. 6S is too much for the drivetrain. Next thing to go are probably the body posts. It's my favorite truck. You can see some movies I made on my channel. But nothing special. I love the way it handles! I drive the badlands 3.8 tires. Light and agile.

Might be more manageable with a set of the arrma 4s tires/wheels from the outcast or kraton.

Awesome run Vas 🤗!!!! Great job with that body and the Max8 combo 😍. She's a wonderful, acrobatic handler for sure. I'd swap those heavy MFT belted tires for the Badlands 3.8's pronto 👍. She absolutely rips on 4s with the lighter faster wheels 👀. The driveshafts tend to bend less from stacks and hard hits too. I'm really surprised Tekno never came out with a V2 after 3+ years 🤔. My guess is they're happy staying focused on race designs. Looking forward to the next one Brother 🍻🚀🚀😎💪👊👊

You were running the stock servo horn? Yeah... They are not up to the high torque we put into these Teknos. Metal Tekno horn and your all good. You might consider the aluminum spur gear as well. Nice first run, your gonna love 4s!

Looks real stable on the jumps with the belted tire I feel the same way with my proline belted tire sometime I feel great about them other time I think it stresses the steering

Pretty impressive for such a big truck on 3s. Awesome vid as always man. And I know the kids can be annoying, but I guarentee you that half of them went home and started looking up r/c after school. I bet you might have encouraged a couple of kids to put down the video games and get into R/C that day.

Did you have to modify anything to fit the Max 8 and motor in this truck. A lot of people are saying there is not much room for esc and motor. And how does this hobbywing combo compare to Castle or Tekin?

Hmm I’m thinking to sell my eb48.4 electric buggy to get this mt410. Ive got all the electronics I’d need and tires and a 70’s proline Chevy body I’m sure I could fit. Really cool truck nice look at it Vas and you have yours set up nicely it looks great the tires and body. On 3s it looks wild I can imagine as you said 6s would be too much. I honestly can’t believe that is 3s though wow it really does move. I find kids and adults alike love our hobby trucks 😂. Who knows you may inspire another hobbyist some day also!

I run mine on Arrma LP wheels with 6s and 1500kv sensored with a 17t or 18t and it’s still utterly mental. It’s just so light and nimble. Don’t bother with big heavy tires, this truck is much happier with less unsprung.

Put on the backflip lp. The trenchers are not suited for that rig. Another great option is the proline badlands. Just make sure you have some tire glue handy.

Pretty cool truck. Seems to handle well. The chassis design looks reminiscent of some of the Aarma trucks. I'll let others decide how accurate that is and who is ripping off who though. There is always some convergence in design with these things anyway.

What KV motor are you running with the MAX 8? Does the MT410 now have the updated rear arms with the larger 3.5mm hinge pins? I see they offer a conversion from Tekno but wasn’t sure if it’s standard now.

I would run the outcast tires or the kraton V4 tires. Much more agile than the giant trenchers. And you can still do triple flips on 4s with those tires!

Yer used to the 1/8th scales lol. This 1/10th scale is way harder to be accurate with. At least I find it to be. I run the Granite on the Max 10 Combo and 3s is to much for it, 2s is where it sits pretty!

You can probably do backflips on 3s because the mass of the tyres is so much compared to the truck. If you ran normal badlands you can only just do flips on 4s, I run shockwaves on mine with 6s, but I have a 1550kv motor 😂

Every school should have a RC course next to it. The hobby would explode along w other motor sports, dirt biking, 4wheeling, might be dangerous but not as dangerous as making the internet/phone our only hobbies. Unfortunately we only have 1 RC store left in Tucson, AZ.

Congrats on getting your MT410 running - I love mine and have experimented a ton with it! I'll be honest with you - I don't think those belted tires are a good choice for the MT410. It's not a speed truck, and those tires are just too heavy and probably a bit too side. If you can source the discontinued Pro-Line Big Joe II tires that I showed off in this MT410 video - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jU6rQCYnjQU.html - I'd recommend them to you. They don't balloon even on 4S, and they are very light and a nice width for the MT410. Put another way, they don't sacrifice handling or airtime just to avoid expansion.

I think belted tires dont have their place in bashing it handles like crap where belted tires are good is on speed run cars like the hoons for example you want a little but of ballooning on a bashing rc

truck $450 then tires/ electronics/servo ...another $300? maybe... ?... that 3s power was pretty amazing... and can go to 6s...
