Hi, In Case you want to replace the whole CCFL Assembly (Converter & Tube) with a 1:1 Drop-in Step-up LED Converter and 3mm LED Strip (to get peace of mind), I Designed one a while ago one for my THS720A, also I designed an External Battery Charger. Definitely going to look at those as was going to do a LED conversion on this one originally and do have the quick charger as have a 720a that came complete with bag and accessories and purchased the optional THS7CHG for $50 on eBay a few months back as was tired of waiting several hours for batteries to charge and my favorite isolation oscilloscope to use as easy to use as far as button layout and truly isolated. I ended up making 4 batteries for it. Definitely won’t mind making another quick dock charger as use this meter a lot as repair control units PLC and switch mode supplies and need one also for work as those chargers are hard to come by nowadays on eBay as most ask 100’s for them, I got lucky on that one. Built NiCD batteries packs but would like to make a couple of NiMH packs and need to make a quick charger that terminates correctly for those?
I have a 720A bought for $175 that is in new condition complete case manuals and cables and 4 Tektronix probes which were sealed never used , I got lucky on that one about a year ago. So yes if you wait save keywords in search definitely can find deals ever so often.
Saludos amigo, excelente video. Tengo uno 710a y me gustaría cambiar a 720p. En el video usted indica que hay que retirar r213 y r207 pero no entendi bien que hay que hacer con r204 y r205. Tambien hay que retirar esas resistencias????
