Summary of Room to Room Phone Exchange :
Works independent of the telephone service, this is a self contained telephone exchange for vintage phones.
It works like a kind of intercom. You can wire up the phones in different rooms and dial the number for a particular phone and it will ring.
It generates the old style buzzing dial tone when you pick up the receiver.
Please note this is for rotary phones only and will only work with newer phones if they have a pulse dial settings.
DO NOT try and connect to an outside telephone service like at&t etc as this will damage the exchange and is probably illegal!
