One of my favorite ways of closing is what I call "passive exit rebuttals". I'll 'end' the call with a hot part of the insurance plan, that applies to their age, and personality profile. Suddenly they say "what, really?" and then 'bam' I can get their attention and explain the benefit of the coverage in full and close shortly afterwards When you mention "gender" I have had women leads who sound like a man that just finished a job at a construction site! With a name that's dual gender, it's easy to mix up....I had one client I was calling "sir" the whole time. She was a good spirit, enrolled in the coverage and then corrected me afterwards "by the way, I'm a women!"...😅
you're really a great coach i like how you find every little detail that you genuinly feel like will kill the awkwardness that's not intended. I dont see a lot of this in the company i work for and will use this advice in my sales.
Pretend like you’re an actor and you need to internalize and memorize your lines. You need to be prepared for the objections before you get them! You’ll get there.

Hi Abigail, empathizing and agreeing with why they are angry and how you would be angry too if your phone was ringing off the hook is the first thing you should do. Then you have to follow it up talking about the reason they inquired and that there is someone important to them that they want to protect.

27:57 To your point Dana, if you start throwing quotes at a person who is only trying to get you off their phone, even if they do say ok go ahead and give me quotes, what did you really do there besides push them into price based thinking! If it were only about price for everyone, nobody would be driving Mercedes and BMW and Lexus, we'd all be driving Kia Rios, right? But reinforcing value based thinking would be much better, so I think it's, "Oh. I understand that money may be an issue for you. We do have some very affordable plans, however. So, would you be opposed to hearing some affordable ways to protect your loved ones in the event that you pass away?"
