It provided great channels. I joined Telewest in 2001 and our kids channels were liked this from what I can remember. 701 Cartoon Network - Cartoons including Dexters Lab, Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chicken and Ed, Edd and Eddy. 702 Boomerang - Classics such as The Flinstones, Tom & Jerry, Pink Panther, Looney Tunes and more. 703 Nick - Comedy and Drama shows designed for kids. 704 Nick Jr. - Learning and teaching young children to have fun. 705 NickToonsTV - Nickeloden's equivalent of Cartoon Network. 706 Fox Kids - A lively mix of Funny Cartoons!!! Fighting the bad guys with action..!..
limestone rock I got Telewest Active Digital in 2002 and the Numbers for these channels had changed to 704 Cartoon Network, 730 Boomerang, 712 Nick, 715 Nick Junior, no Nicktoons, 707 Fox Kids. There was also CBBC on 701 and CBeebies on 702 and Disney Channel on 724. I remember Sky One on 120 and BBC Choice on 111 😊
NTL/Cable and Wireless had the same remote as the first one promoted, I'm guessing Telewest had the same Pace 1000STB's? If they did they were prone to being quite shit. (I have no other words) The fact Telewest telling people how to reboot proves how rubbish early cable STB's were, they were unreliable. Having said that we had to two Pace boxes that lasted 7 years, God knows how. Thanks for uploading the clip.
I use to sell sky boxes back in the day I use buy them off people for a tenner and sell them for 25 to 35 depending on the brand, I forget the all the names now this was in 2000 to 2003. I think they were sent abroad for ex-pats.
