I was there. If the mind is constantly under the influence of negative emotions, at critical point a fuse is activated to protect from the pain. Suffering eases, but person finds himself in a void in which the world seems completely unreal. In psyhiatry, this state is called depersonalization, and without medication is very hard to deal with :(

@@EskiLdn I comprehend what you meant, but don't underestimate the power of words & their essence to others, it does matter in such hard scenarios to save a person's life because no one inflicts it on themselves, it is always the surroundings & All of the people on your life, who makes you so by influencing their negativity, jealousy, remarks & false assumptions & imposing their controlled behaviour & your life especially if you are a girl it's easier for them to control you against your misfortune also by claiming "the world is not a safe place for you" No matter how much of a good person you are at taking care of yourself, going through it right now!

He's a story. I went to Spanaway Park today because I'm getting a little depressed due to being unemployed. I met three guys and three women couples and Homeless all from different backgrounds. Just the 40 minutes of conversation motivated me to keep searching and thinking of the many blessings I already have. When I left all I could do was think of them and ended up stopping at the Dollars Tree getting two packs of plates and plasticware. Went to the gas station across the street buying two of the biggest pops. when on to Kentucky fried chicken and buying one 16-chicken family pack and all the trimmings. All totaling around $65. Then went back to the park and as I passed through the gate. I told the park attendant of my plans. She was crying. I went and found those people I had met and 10 others and we all had dinner together. It was the best Day of my life. I'll use what know and the power I have to make a change for others and help my new friends have a better life. Because have in my life is nothing to what I found today.
And that is what the world needs....a little diffrent perception from someone else eyes. Personal connection is something that has been lost today. I can't help but give...I know I have the basics then I am good. Just need love, compassion and growth.❤

@@qsita then it probably would've helped her. The issue with alcoholism as with any addiction is that a cold turkey approach may introduce a shock to your system if it was too dependant on it before. (Same goes the other way round btw, not consuming something for years and binging on it suddenly may have the same effect). It sucks, but that's how it is. Without proper controlled slow removal it's pretty hard and sometimes very risky even to go away from any addiction.

I can support God's work and give back to my community. God is absolutely more than enough! Now I have a new identity and a child of God.

Sadly most of the people who are homeless because of the systems on the west, the only way is down. Some make it by miracle. But once yiu get homeless its insanely hard to get out.

Of those stuck, it is typically health related and incapable of holding a job or have serious drug addictions. Places (cities) that create programs to help are often overwhelmed due to the homeless migration from places that won't help to places that offer help, plus a divided communities that don't agree on how to manage things.

Because if democrats say 1 thing, republicans instantly goes against it. if republicans say 1 thing, democrats instantly goes against it. So at the end, you end up with these big BIG holes in the system that both sides trying to fill up and fight over it but instead of filling it up they making it bigger and bigger hole. Problem couldve been solved more than 20 years ago if both parties understood each other. Im sorry to make it political but yeah politics playing HUGE role into that. Simply by creating 1 program wont be enough. You need whole remaking of the whole system that these 2 parties destroyed and create brand new system with neutral people not minions of the elites.

The core issue I see is both parties are funded by the same big money... Each throws crumbs to appease their base, meanwhile using each other as obstructionist to each other's supposed goals. That way they can cry wolf and point fingers and keep asking for support from their base. I think it is obvious the many of the extreme wealthy class / industries want the country divided and retarded so that those with the wealth can retain as much power as possible. Our system is very much developed around taking advantage of people versus strengthening our society. It is sad to watch.

She definitely needed that hug, some kind words, and someone to tell her she matters. It is not just the homeless. Even those who are in their homes with their family sometimes do not have anyone to talk to and feel lonely.
What hurts me the most is the thought that many people are going through this but governments have money to fund wars. It doesn't make any sense to me.
See when i was a general manager i seen a homeless man who read his bible. I saw it as a sign of yep he was mine. So i hired him and mentally feeble and epilepsy too.. i was respected until my last days as a GM. Id do it again too in heartbeat ❤
Facts. I talk to homeless people sometimes even when I don’t have shit to give besides a cig, I know I’ll prob get hate for that but it can be nice to sit on the street and share a smoke and talk about each other’s lives. One guy I took to get food and let him shower at my place and crash for the night, wash his clothes, sleep on the couch etc. I wouldn’t recommend this to females (unless the person you’re helping is a lady) but it can be really rewarding and change your perspective if you feel comfortable doing it. He asked me while we were eating if I was real, that shit hits you deep.
It bringed tears to my eyes to know that millions of people around the world are homeless sometimes because no one cares for them. Is good to help the others. God bless this guy and all the ones doing this everyday. Cameras or not. Likes or not they make a difference for a lot of people.

I spoke with a homeless man a couple months ago at a red light. And once it hit green he was like Thank you, Thank you for treating me like a human. And that, that has stuck in me ever since.
First they loose their dignity. Then their identity and finally their humanity. Its really sad that these days people just care about themselfs and forget to see others in need as human beins.
That first hug released a world of tension in her as she seemed apprehensive at first because no one had offered her one of the simplest acts of compassion in so long.
I live in Adelaide with my wife and kids... We could give her a place to stay if she ever sees this and just needs somewhere stable to get 9n her own feet. I wouldn't charge her a cent

She has a valid point most people can't even see the homeless they refuse to even acknowledge them other than criminals or people with mental problems. That might have used to be that way but that is not the case nowadays. There are a lot of people in the streets that are just average everyday people that can't make it in this country anymore. This man is an absolute Angel and he wasn't even afraid to touch her! Most people won't even give a homeless person a hug! There are homeless people in my neighborhood who come up to me just because they know I will give them a hug.
This is probably going to come off the wrong way, but I am for helping the homeless. However, I won’t give them cash. If they want or need food, I will be more than happy give someone food, a drink, whatever. That’s because if I give you cash, then I have no idea if you are using it buy alcohol or whatever to feed a possible addiction. Second, I have seen too many videos of people pretending to be homeless to collect “donations” just because they simply don’t want to work. They view that as their job. I understand that is probably a small minority, but that’s another reason I don’t give cash to someone. I literally brought a man a whole burger, fries, and water to drink and he looked at me, rolled his eyes, and said “oh great.. a burger” in a sarcastic way. That made me believe he truly wasn’t wanting money for food despite what his sign said. On the other hand, I’ve done the same for another individual who straight up broke down in tears thanking me and offering a hug. That person I believed to be truly sincere in needing help

Thing is people make there own choice in life, they have a free will, they have a family, able to work to feed themselves. A dog or puppy has none of these things, How can a little puppy every take care of itself? They have been domesticated, have no idea how to live without people..A person has a mouth, can talk, what can a starving injured dog do, just walk and walk till ahe is to weak to walk anymore, lays down and dies..

Just because someone is homeless doesn't mean they're any less human than you. Treat people equally whether they're rich, poor, or anything in between. You never know what they're going through and the undeniable hardships they face every single day of their lives.
