In the Forbes list of best places to do business all social democracies rate way above the USA. As a matter of fact the international rating show the USA as 45th and the social democracies as the top 10. Not socialist. i would not want to live in a socialist country either. Universal health care paid through taxes cost less then 1/2 of what you pay and everyone is covered. Outcomes are far, far better as well. Such programs help the middle class not hurt them.
