This is like the best thing ever!! Love all the different people showing off the sweater they proudly made, in a place they know knitting is appreciated. I work in a LYS and I always compliment people on their nice knitted garments. Love all the creativity!
OMGoodness! I can't take my eyes off the screen (had to pause it to type), because there are so many amazing and inspirational knits. Thought I'd work on my other stuff while listening and occasionally glancing, but I just can't. I have to see them all!
This video is so amazing. I'm getting super pumped about Rhinebeck seeing this. I've never been and I can't wait to check out everyone's sweaters!! I hope you'll be doing another one of these videos. It's so great to hear everyone's stories!
so I finally broke down and watched this video...and what I was afraid would happen, happened. my favourites/queue grew by about a dozen sweaters. such amazing sweaters!

I love this video! You've managed to capture all the excitement, joy, and fun of Rhinebeck and the Rhinebeck knits! I've never been, and wasn't able to go this year, but until I get to go, I feel so privileged I can live through the excitement from the comfort of my home thanks to your excellent video! And you have so many cameos from podcasters, yarn dyers, people in the industry, and even some friends of mine! And I've gotten so many great ideas for all the things I want on my needles!

Nancy Groth get outta my head! My daughter and I just booked our hotel for MD. I have been trying to figure out what the video should be about--- is the "Maryland sweater" a thing? Because I heard it's often too warm to wear wool. Any other ideas on what people might want to chat about???
People do wear their best work, in my observation, probably more shawls than Rhinebeck sweaters? First weekend of May it's chilly in the morning, by afternoon it can be cool or quite warm. I still think the idea is so charming that you should do a Maryland version to let people and their work shine. I have selfish interest in wanting to show off (assuming I can finish in time) my project for this year. Using the Miss Babs show-only colorway I bought at MD Sheep & Wool in May 2016; when I got to the front of the 45-minute line to pay, I babbled happily whilst the credit card was being run about how this was my 3rd time at MDS&W but first time I had scored the Miss Babs show-only colorway when suddenly I noticed the nametag on the woman waiting on me was MISS BABS HERSELF IN PERSON. I was mortified and embarrassed but swore to myself that I would knit these skeins and wear the FO to MDS&W 2017 and get a selfie with Miss Babs.
At 11:15 you talk to a couple of people who said their sweaters were from a designer called Michelle Wong. I'm not familiar with that designer, but the sweaters are beautiful. I'm struggling to find her on Ravelry though. Can someone help me with a link to one of her designs and/or profile please? Not sure if I'm spelling her name wrong or something, but I'd love to find her patterns. Thanks in advance! :)
