It was a great episode. I'm going to focus on Bree's situation. My theory is that Marianne knows perfectly well what Oliver does (because it must not be the first time he has sex with students). There are several details that make me think that, in previous episodes when Oliver enters Marianne's classroom looking for something, Marianne kisses him goodbye (this seemed to me an out of place attitude for a teacher in front of her class), and now she appears wearing Bree's earrings? It's obvious that she knows, and she's rubbing it in Bree's face. Oliver and Marianne's marriage is something twisted and unfortunately Bree with her emotional deficiencies was caught in the middle.
I think that Dianna has really bad issues with her Dad and that’s why she is so passive with Steven and seeking his acceptance. She doesn’t want to be like her mom getting rejected by her dad. And probably feels like she is on that track with how things are going with her dad - leading her to cling on to Steven. That’s why I don’t think she is lying about the situation at all with her card declining and failing the LSATS.
@@jordancarrillo8834 ok this is so true !! Yea this season they definitely tried to give more insight into Diana’s family dynamics and how that would lead her to want someone like Stephen.
I so loved that you brought up the killers song they played in this episode and tied it back to the other killers song played in episode one. Now knowing they were getting a cover of Mr. Brightside I’m even more excited for it.I also agree with your thoughts on Stephen and Lucy’s relationship VS. Stephen and Diana is spot on in regards to their beliefs on him being a better person. I see Lydia as another victims of Stephen, that he is using, and manipulating and doing what he needs to do to get his needs and wants met. It was just easier to do it b/c of the entire Chris stuff. But i think he really does love Lucy in the twisted way that he can. don’t get me wrong their relationship is toxic AF If Evan does notice the earrings on Marianne I cant wait to see how that unfolds.
@@Khellendros05 Ty yes !!! I love the music on this show and I think they put a lot of thought into it, I’d love to go through it all again and analyze the soundtrack. And agreed !!
@@heatherlicious8224 thank you heather !!! :) think there was a big break btwn seasons due to the writers strike , hoping a season 3 would come soon 🙏🏻🙏🏻
This episode was so wild I was literally yelling at the TV .Bree planted those earrings and I have no idea what was the purpose? was she hoping his wife would see them and get suspicious or was she trying to give him a reminder of her when they're not together? That was bananas. Holy sh*t.
Stephen loved Lucy cause she was HARDCORE, most women are babies like Diana and they go into their shells because things get hard or don't go their way, with Lucy it's like nothing can turn her off, she was NEVER looking for perfect, she only wanted to support a man on his mission and she never gave a fuck what that mission looked like, i kind of love her.
@@fabfemme800 you see it as bad and weak but for me it's a very beautiful and wonderful thing. ALSO, she has morals, if she didn't she wouldn't feel how she felt about her homewrecker dormmate or her best friend's r*pist brother. Can we try for once to be accurate???
Stephen left Diana because she's one of those women that think they can change a man whereas Lucy doesn't have any freaking expectation of him whatsoever, NONE, most women don't realise that that's what guys want, a woman that will ride no matter what the man is about, someone that is down to help out without asking. Lucy is EASILY better wife material than Diana but sone women wont get it, Lucy gets it, Diana on the other hand was born to be a l*sbian. It's a really great show that shows a lot of the reality about life, i was surprised that Stephen didn't know what Diana was all along, Diana is very modern, to date her comes with a lot of checkmarks whereas to date Lucy comes with none, this is what men like.
