Tell Me why i should NOT buy this STAND on Skid Steer (Bobcat mt100) Testing

Scl1000 is a beast. I’ve tried the mt100 and the scl1000 and decided to go with the Kubota. The best machine of them all!

The mt100 we use it a lot at my company I’m in the landscaping indurstry we use to put in granite steps sometimes

Id never buy anything that was a rental before.

It's a learning curve, don't give up on using it...

Depends on the cost and time of return of cost. You can knock out more jobs, but fuel and maintenance are costly nowadays. Save on labor cost also and of course your back too🙂I'd say if you can get it cheap, maybe get a set of bolt on teeth it'll help with the harder dirt. Nicely done as usual! I've been keeping my eyes open for one. I have a Kubota Kx080 excavator currently. Tried out a tracked Dingo years ago. Id like one and a hammer for tearing out garage floors. Id do a little research on them Ditch Witch, Vermeer, and Kubota would probably be my pick depending on specs and pricing. Good luck with your purchase.

Buckey with toothband you would of dug quicker but either way nice job with the straight edge bucket

I am planning to purchase Vermeer 925 or Bobcat MT100, which one is better? Which one is more powerful? Which is more suitable for digging soil?

So the biggest question is billable hours, for every hour of operation, that machine consumes a few dollars, tracks last about 2k hours or so, hydraulic pumps and motors wear out.. If you can get some billable hours and maybe open yourself up to some larger jobs it may well be worth it. Whereas you do a lot of laser work, you can clamp a pole to the bucket and let the laser guide the grading as well.

We run an Mt52 because we do a lot of work in residential back yards with limited access through gates. The 52 fits through most gates since it's not as wide as the 100.

Try the kubota scl 1000!

Congratulations on making the leap on some equipment...my suggestion is get a new holland 227 or a bobcat e 20 mini X and use the tractor to load material both those machines are game changers 🙏 its a tough choice but your higher power will lead you to what choice to make

Really good video. The 42” wide machine handles better than the 36”, and most gates are 48” wide. Also, very impressive trailer backing up by your dad a hair more and he’s into that fence

I like using the little dingos. They fit in between houses and don't tear up the grass that bad.

That bucket needs some teeth on it to cut into harder soil and make for quicker times digging up dirt. Time is money.

One wrong move and off you go flying.

The company I worked for used it around commercial swimming pools and I'm pretty sure it will go through a man door, nice for backfill.

Turn the throttle up that is not good on the machine and you’re not getting the proper performance. I have this machine and it works great.

I’m sure you didn’t compare it to the same spectating go. Compare it to the dingo 1000 TX and not 525 or 700. Dingo superior.

Hey man thanks for youe videos! I have a concrete business as well and specialize in small pours and repairs. I am planning on selling my Kubota track machine and getting a bobcat MT100 or a Case TL100. The case stand on skid steers are just being released to the dealers beginning of 2024. I looked into the Kubota SCL1000 but I hear too many stories that they roll easy, side to side and they can flip over backwards if you are driving onto a dumptrailer for instance. (That's what I hear at least) Also from what I understand Kubota's control are electronic which can make it jerky as that tends to be more sensitive and as you drive the machine you are naturally holding on to the controls for support. From what I see of the Case TL100 it combines both the good from Kubota and Bobcat into one machine(minus the fact that the Kubota has the lift arms similar to the larger machines where the lift arms pivot at two points to keep the bucket out to reach farther the higher you lift) Good luck, thought I'd share a little bit of my research.

For limited access work, these are great. There is no Seat, Roll Over Protection, AC or windshield for shade. You will be breathing a lot of dust, baking in the sun, and could be exposing yourself to danger as you bend tree branches back, they can whip you in the face and take your eyes out.

That is the wide track version i bought one for my tree service. It works pretty good only complaint i have is the bucket creeping down when im picking up over 2000 lbs.

How about I tell u why u should buy it. Because u can haul the machine and your power buggy on one trailer, which means less time driving , more time working. I built a custom dump trailer that carries skid and buggy. Best thing I ever did.

Those are actually awesome machines plus you can get them through gates and under decks

Get a cab skid loader like a case or something brother do some real damage

We use small excavators a lot more as u can see the bucket easier and a more accurate.

Buy it, and when not in use, rent it out to other company owners you know and trust. 👍

A smart, safe, patient operator can move mountains with that machine. The weights that are under the tracks can be taken off and added to the rear. Give you about an extra 100lbs of lifting counterweight. The non turbo engine on this is perfect for our high risk work where we need a non-jerking machine. Go with 36 inches wide. There isn't a better bobcat that's 36 inches wide out on the market today.
