Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

Ha Ha! That setting up the camera on the cart hitch was funny. I always think about that whenever someone is doing their own filming. It's like, "oh, he had to set the camera there and drive off and then come back and get that". So I appreciate the 4th wall break there.

When you put new fuel filters on those tractors try leaving the filters loose and turn the key on until fuel comes out of the filter then tighten it up. I’m a jd tech and sometimes they seem like they end up full of air if you don’t do that 🤷‍♂️ kinda messy but it seems to work better

I actually had/have this exact problem... but the benefits from the manure and the rent is pretty decent overrides fighting a little twine or net wrap. if you just go cut or burn it off right away it's a non issue most of the time. I have cattle and am also guilty but 90% of my hay /straw is chopped so dont have many problems anymore.

He's a good landlord and a good friend. We have farmed a lot of his ground for 25 years now. We'll just deal with it and raise the basket up next time!!

Our 8370 was having trouble with dead batteries, put the battery disconnect kit on, problem solved. Book says, if parked for more than 21 days, to unhook batteries. We were having trouble after 1-2 weeks.

Why is the "cart" style battery chargers too short for anyone to drag without being hunched over? I always end up awkwardly carrying it anyways!

Mount it on a two wheel dolly. Run a piece of 3/4" PVC between the side rails for a place to hook your battery clamps.

I am presuming the polypropylene twine wrapped first around the rollers-the things the bearing go into. The twine then slipped/slid onto the bearing area. If that path the twine took add a small guards on the ends of the rollers.

Well here I am hunkered down trying to stay away from people and the virus. My big tractor is in the shop getting about 10 things fixed. The weather has been great. The high is in the 80's and there is plenty of sun.

Pretty much anything electronic will do it. Just because it's not on doesn't mean the comp in the devices isn't eating power. Just like sleeping and off stuff in the home.
