I love how Wonder genuinely doesn't care If anyone knows the true story about him. He's just happy that, whatever story they believe is enough to give them hope
Well, the stories in this episode where true to some extent, the first one, Wander does "defeat" his "enemies" by hugging them, but as a sign of affection and love, not literally squishing them to death, Wander likes to act crazy and play around with the people he's trying to "defeat" , but not to that extent of disrespect, Wander does relies on Sylvia on his adventures, but he doesn't depends entirely on her. They all start as true, but gets distorted as they tell them, so, the last one shouldn't be an exception, and considering it's mentioned in the show that Wander felt helpless and terrified at some point to his life (Mentioned in "The Wanders" episode) to the point helping people became his main motivation, Him getting lost or taken away from his family sounds awful enough to fill the gaps. I honestly think is a crime against humanity to cancel this show
yeah but I do think the oldest is also on to something, not the huge villain family hullabaloo but the thing with the tragic event, I think a combination of their stories is probably pretty close
I think there are some truths in each of the kids stories, silver 7 being Sylvia, wander facing Major Threat, and I think in the last one, wander being the last of his kind is the only true part of that story.
+Tachu Wolf This is true, Disney wouldn't allow Wander Over Yonder To continuing with season 3. But there is things we can do to help. You could spread out the words to sign this: www.change.org/p/walt-disney-encourage-disney-to-make-wander-over-yonder-season-3?recruiter=503107607&
Maybe it will be the same case as Edipo?? That he didnt know he married his mother and when he knew, he became so regretful about it. That almost killed himself because of it.
Maybe it's like the whole thing with ice king and marceline where he doesn't remember anyone even his own daughter and since he's completely different looking cause of the curse dominator doesn't realize it's her dad
Actually Everyone's story had a part that was actually true going from Wander and Major threat being around for a long time to how Wander met Hater and Hugged him. I wonder what was the part that was true about the oldest siblings story...was it the part that mentioned that there is a curse of some kind? or was it the part about Wander's curiosity being the origins of helpless Wander? guess we'll never know now...
Bighat The Star Nomad True, it still might have a chance of coming back considering things like Samurai Jack and Invader Zim came back after a very long time. I really do hope it comes back and gets the treatment it deserves, there were so many unanswered questions and it ended on a cliffhanger, so It'd be nice if that was resolved. Though even still season 3 does have a chance of coming back I'm not gonna get my hopes up super high because it still may not happen sadly.
Bighat The Star Nomad Yes, I completely forgot this show existed for a long time until I saw those reruns play. Those were actually what made me watch the show, and I wish I had checked it out over a year ago instead of just finding out about it now.
Wait... WHAT!?? Lord Hater is wanders father and Lord dominator is wanders sister... so if Lord Hater is (was) in love with Lord dominator, wouldn't that be incest?!! I really hope this isn't cannon....
So you’re saying that wander’s archnemisis and archenemy is his father?!? And wander’s other enemy is his sister who has sworn revange on wander?!? This show gets even weirder.
Lord Dominator: What kind of imagination does that kid even have? Wander: Me related to her? Lord Hater: Even though she's pretty, she's not my daughter and I ain't Wander's father! Me: Guys, it's only made-up... unless some of the details are true! Sylvia: Oh yeah? Detail this! (Punches me) (I fell to the ground) Wander: It doesn't matter if the stories are true, all it does is it give them hope! 😊
Nadaa yes I do, The Black Cube had a good moral but the story wasn't good. Actually, Nadaa and findingbuglantis, what did you think of The Wanders and The Family Reunion? Those were my favorite episodes.
The moral of the story is that it doesn't matter if your fan fiction is canon or not, as long as people have fun Also, Wander is a giant werewolf punk rocker with a robot buddy, a convoluted backstory, and a space princess girlfriend
+ThePreciseClimber Wander says something at the end about how it doesn't matter if everyone's stories are true, because they give them hope. I think that's applicable to the moral of "don't argue about headcanons, just have fun."
Love the Cave Story-like design of the oldest child's story. Also, holy shit, this perfectly describes what most lore-based fanfics are written like. Big props for Noelle Stevenson, the person behind this segment, for making this hilarious scene.
+uberdude102 ug so it's true! OK well the last episode better deal with Lord Dominator once and for all! First Tron Uprising gets canceled, than Gravity Falls ends (with a great finale of course!) and now this! Ug! Luckily the only Disney XD shows I'm watching currently are two "Star" shows- Star Wars Rebels and Stars vs Forces of Evil, thank god it's gonna be 3 seasons!
Well You can Blame Disney for that because their not all about action animated cartoons & yes Gravity falls was the Best 4 years of everyone who watched it. SVTFOE will come this summer with a season 2 and Star wars Rebels is kicking butt left and right but what a good run
I really hope the petitions and letters that the fans are sending out to Disney will convince them to give this show at the very least a 3rd season, because this episode was amazing!
Fräulein Zuckerguss He´s could surely showed a hint to that maybe...remember those crystals separating his personalities with a small cute one, named helpless Wander. Wander didn´t look like he wants that part back than if something bad happend in his past, You think they all would travel together like family spreading joy, love, friendship, and assistance.
+Freak a Brick Yeah I think that helpless Wander impersonates a time of him when he was alone and scared. Maybe he was abandoned or his family was killed. Remember what Zen Wander said? "The Helper seeks to help because he knows how it is to be helpless." Obviously Wander went through some tough stuff and now he travels the galaxy, wanting nobody to feel the same as him at this difficult time.
So, here's what I can gather from what's been implied about Wander's past, along with some speculation of my own: I'm guessing either his entire species was wiped out by some horrific event and he was the only one who survived, or he got separated from his family at some point. Either way, with how helpless he felt, he decided to dedicate his life to helping others who were helpless, and simultaneously decided to help people change for the better, even villains (AKA Major Threat). With all of the places he's traveled, he's been called different names, and I'm guessing he's also very old.
+Brainstormer623 Well, that would be... annoying. What if they later saw the "Wanted" posters of Wander and Sylvia and were all like: "...holy sh..." xD
