I just. I just love that the first season you’re like “oh, the typical oblivious positive main character, lucking his way through life” then second season is like nOPE, he knows exactly what he’s doing 95% of the time! He’s been travelling countless galaxies doing this same thing for possibly thousands of years, always going by different names and always defeating powerful overlords!!!
It's really confusing. There's alot of question at that part. Like, why do so many villains want to waste their time chasing a sweet little guy like Wander around and who knew your kidnapper could become your best friend?
Criminally Nerdy Yeah. But just like Hater, bad guys shouldn't be wasting their time chasing Wander around when they have plans to accomplish. Their just letting Wander (and Sylvia) get in their way when he just wants to be everyone's friend.
Leah Williams That's most likely the reason why they're after Wander, though. He's trying to make the universe a good place. And these villains want it to be fully under their control. I get why you're confused. But these villains aren't really thinking that much about the consequences in the long run.
Disney... I swear... you churn out crappy low-budget live action sitcoms by the dozen, but then when you strike gold with a show like Wonder over Yonder, you kill it off in TWO SEASONS?!?! This is the show you wanna cancel? Disney. I'm shocked.
Exactly Sylvia such a nice and kind creature it a I've got to mention an absolute bad-ass that's why we love her basically she had a lot of character development starting from a bad guy to a guy to a guy to a good guy
I can't believe that Wander was in a bag when He and Sylvia met and that scene reminded me of this movie Return to Neverland where Peter Pan and Jane met and in this Sylvia was a badass back then
The writers, with the limited amount of time they had, squished all the backstory into one or two episodes. There wasn't enough time to fully flesh out the characters or develop a strong tone. This episode felt painfully 'status quo' and it wasn't the emotional climax of the series I myself had my hopes up for.
Well since technically the Wander and Sylvia from that timeline are gone new Syl won't know about Wandy's secrets like his age or his old identity. Which is probably why no questions were asked.
Everyone's saying Wander is supposedly over a thousand years old, but how can that be? In this same episode, Wander and Sylvia age 50 years and Wander is old. If he's supposed to be over a thousand years old, why would only 50 years make him age so quickly all of a sudden?
@@elciervoparaguayo3756 wow Sylvia was right! Wander really *is* a man of mystery! But why would he not want Sylvia to know that he’s over a thousand years old? Is he hiding something?
Since Major Threat was Hater, and Admiral Admirable was Awesome, could this mean that there was another Sylvia, Dominator, and more? And everything will happen the same way that it did in that galaxy, and the characters from this galaxy meets the exact same fate?
It's more like the villains are extremely similar and Wander knows exactly how to push their buttons and knows the scheme. Now he just needs to pull it off and the same story would proceed again.
Sylvia:"Oh no. No, no, no. not here!"Wander:"What's wrong, when are we?"(Wander looks up at a mountain and sees Killbot-85, holding a sack with something inside it, and past Sylvia on another mountain with bounty hunter armor.)Past Sylvia:"Back off, Killbot-85! This is *MY* bounty!"Killbot-85:" *Robotical humming* (Killbot-85's arm transforms into a bunch of blasters and tries to fire past Sylvia, but she jumps towards Killbot-85.)Past Sylvia:"Rauuuuuuugggghhhh!"(Killbot-85 stops firing and tries to attack Past Sylvia with a saw, but she dodges and kick it away.)
Wait so if Syliva was a bounty hunter. How did she change good and be friends with Wander? I think it makes sense now Syliva left her home be a bounty hunter and had Wander and that's how they first meet?
Honestly makes me wish they DID see the future and after they leave show a snippet of the KING of the universe being... Lord Hater, the nicest guy in the galaxy *Hinting that he turned good in the future and ruled it with kindness*
He has no name, or at least his OG name isn't known. For Tumbleweed, he said this was what people CALLED him. He didn't say it was his name. And for Wander, he just heard what Sylvia said and thought it sounded good, meaning he was looking for a new name, meaning he probably doesn't have one
@dragonheart7901 my theory is Wander is the name bis parents gave him but after being separated from them at a young age he forgot it and goes by whatever others want to call him, like Tumbleweed. Until meeting Sylvia he just felt naturally drawn to the name never knowing why exactly.
1: one of the evil tyrants wich that galaxy was full of, put a bounty on his head 2: being extremely happy to the point of actually being annoying is against the law in some galaxies 3: he licked a doorknob, and we all know this is ilegal in other planets, only ours that has barely no laws compared to the others allow such atrosity, this is why a i hate that panet, i gotta find my friend alien legulas who is affraid of sirens so i can borrow his ship and get out of this miserable piece of rock
I Am Donut Might have something to do with stealing his hat that was the cause of a galactic civil war, and we know it's not Hater that put the bounty on his head, this was way before Hater knew about Wander, afterall.
WOY Preview Pilot Release: August 18 2007 Cast: Jeff Glen Bennett: Wander Grey Griffin: Sylvia Kevin Michael Richardson: Major Threat/Lord Hater Daran Norris: Captain Tentacles/Commander Peepers Keith Ferguson, Tom Kenny: Watchsquids/Watchdogs Bill Fagerbakke: Admiral Admirable (and possibly his Foot Soldiers)/Emperor Awesome and his Fist Fighters
Wait a second if the whole galactic conjunction thing happen in every 1000 year and wander was there before hater was there does that mean wander is over 1000 years old?!
Since this episode, I see Wander in a totally different way... Everytime he acts childish I remember he's actually thosands of years old... But it makes sense how confident he is about his techniques, seems like he's been using them for a while now
+AngieGandalf6 It gives a whole new perspective on how Wander interacts with individuals like Lord Hater. From the perspective of one who has lived thousands of years beings like Lord Hater are just angry maladjusted children in need of teaching and help.
So, Wander is over 1000 years old, he's gone by different names (e.g. Tumbleweed), he has a wide array of enemies, has a companion who travels with him through his adventures, and he travels through space in an unconventional means of transportation that is ALSO capable of traveling through time. You get where I'm going with this?
+INTPTT I think he means the one where Hater meets Major Threat, who's his idol, and then find out he's turned good. The rest of the episodes revolves around Hater trying to turn him evil again being afraid he himself could be turned good by Wander.
Well he has to be at least 1000+ years old since the galactic conjunction only takes place every thousand years and he already looked like an adult and knew which schemes to use, so you can probably count many more years. I find it awesome that he never really ages. And that also means that Major Threat must be at least 1000 years old too. But just imagine if Hater or Peepers knew how old he really is and what huge knowledge he must have. :D
+General Dumbass wanders not a thousand years old. The event happened in a different entire galaxy not their same one and they happen at different times
+KocoBlitz How would you know that those would be different galaxies. I mean, there are the exact same planets and even if he said "folks in this galaxy call me Tumbleweed" it could be just as well that the galactic conjunction is known in more galaxies so people travel there.
+Fräulein Zuckerguss That's why Sylvia's better off with Wander since Ryder makes her a worse character (which is why I hate Ryder) but still, didn't think she would be a bounty hunter.
Leah Williams If we keep sending Gary Marsh letters and 200 reasons to save WOY, there just might be a 3rd season. I do want to see Ryder return, and fight Sylvia, (even if he IS a pompous jerk) I mean... he DID Sell Sylvia out to the watchdogs in Hater's vault.
Y'know,it's cool to see how Wander and Sylvia met, and what really want to know is more on both they're backstories, especially Wander's,he's a literal star that's probably over a thousand years old (despite how young he may look and act)
+CHR0MEMATIC I think this is supposed to happen like a long time ago, so I doubt he can be his father (not really sure though, since we already know two characters who seem to be immortal or live for a really long period of time)
+AnotherHetalian that isn't a fact) cause this Galactic Con-whatever can be several years before Galactic Thing in galaxy where Sylvia and Wander are traveling now))
I Agree with the 228 Likes, Before Sylvia was the Sidekick of Wander, Wander was Travelling Alone, and he was Friends with Major Threat in the 2000s. ;-)
So Consider, Major Threat's Alignment: Bad, Later Good. Thanks To Wander. And It's Lord Hater's Turn To Have Change of Heart. Probably, Sometime at the Series Finale on June 2016. Again, Trust Me. ;-)
