Me and Dan met each other through RU-vid about 5 years ago. He lives in England and I live in Vegas. We constantly talked through DM's, skype calls, and played video games together. We always helped each other out with video ideas and have seen each other grow through our teen years. Even though we're Best Friends, he has yet to know my real name because I've been keeping it a secret from the internet. We always talked about eating a cheeky Nandos together and today is finally the day we did that and revealed my name to him.

I have a similar story, I’ll set the scene: 2014, Black Ops 2. I attempted a ninja defuse on the map Yemen, I got caught and died. The guy who killed me, the first thing he ever said to me, was “wow you’re shit at ninja defusing.” I was like “yeah I know.” And he asked if I wanted to party up, and since I didn’t have anyone else to play with at the time, I joined. We liked the same music, you tubers, and generally had a connection. We kept playing games and got super close. After 3 years of playing together, we never FaceTimed at all, but he invites me down to California,(I live in Washington state) and the plan was made. I’m planning to go down this summer again. That was 6 years ago and I’m so glad to have failed that ninja defuse.

I can relate so hard to this meeting lol! Back when I was like 13 / 14 I met my girl while I was playing some random game that I was obsessed with. We started talking and got so close! Our friendship started while I was in this "gaming group" where I had a lot of online friends but after a year or so the group slowly dissolved into nothing, but I managed to keep in contact with her and our friendship deepened! After 4 years we finally met in real life in Netherlands and it was so surreal... I was literally crying because I couldn't believe it was happening. Let's just say I am really happy that my parents, although cautious, weren't the kind of parents that would be like "NO SHE'S A STRANGER, NO MEETING UP WITH OnLiNe FrIeNdS" because then I could have lost such a precious friend! Right now, our friendship is reaching the 7th anniversary and we are still talking as if we saw each other everyday! I am so incredibly grateful for her. 😁

This reminds me of the time I saw my mom after like 3yrs at a fair some people where recording us and where like "awww", but some were critical bcs I'm black and my mom's white.....
