This is part 1 of 2 on Natural Navigation using patterns in tree growth. Tree branch growth is impacted by sun & the dominant wind of the area. It is also impacted by micro environments so any one tree may not tell direction or show the signs I’m pointing too in this video.
But, if you can find a pattern of growth across the landscape, a story starts to come together that may help you tell direction & find your way out of the woods if lost.
