Telling Our Daughters That We're Having Another Baby!

Congratulations!!! I went through my infertility battle the same time as you and your videos helped me get through it. As I followed your journey, I knew I wasn’t alone. Now my heart is filled with so much joy to see you with your two girls and another baby on the way, while I get to give hugs and love to my two boys. Six or seven years ago I didn’t think it possible. Miracles happen! 😃❤️

I love this, having gone through IVF and embryo transfers- now 2 kids 1.5 and 3.5 yrs old. I have 4 embryos left over and wanting a 3rd child so badly. But I have so much to consider. The first thing would be my mental health as I’m really struggling at this time. My kids are so full on most days, I love them dearly, but my god it’s a lot! I can’t even imagine bringing a newborn into this. Knowing I have four more embryos and also knowing that I cannot possibly have four more attempts as I don’t even know whether I have another pregnancy left in me. Pregnancy is not kind to me. Plus my two babies were born Caesarean. Only now or one and a half years postpartum I’m starting to feel more like myself in my body practically where my incision is is no longer painful to the touch. Are used to have razor blade feeling every time I would run my shower loofah over it while washing. But now that sensation has finally gone away. 2024 is my year to focus on my mental health more in terms of my physical activity and hobbies. I’m finally starting to get to the point where I’m able to start focusing on these things more. And I don’t plan to do any embryo transfers or plans with the embryos that I still have until 2025. So I still have time to work on myself and bring more balance to my life before even considering bringing about the child into this world. Also the financial implications as well as the logistics of having a third child is a lot to consider. Also, considering that it would be very difficult for people to babysit. All three children were very blessed to have such hands on families that help us out with babysitting every so often. Having gone through infertility for eight years, and actually having the blessing of two beautiful children, and for more embryos, I just do not know what to do at this point. My oldest will be going to school in 2026, so I figured that he will be starting school around the time a newborn could potentially be born. I also feel very excited at the prospect of having another maternity leave knowing that the third would definitely be my last child. I’m glad I have time on my side as I don’t plan to make any decisions until January 2025. I don’t particularly know why I’m typing this out, but I don’t know anybody person in my life that is at this stage in the fertility journey. I also feel that I’m pushing my luck trying for a third baby so much could also go wrong not just with the baby and the pregnancy but also with my body. I actually thought this way before having my second. I have a boy and a girl so people who I’ve discussed this with you have never been through infertility or do not have embryos just sitting in the freezer. Just simply don’t understand this circumstance. It is such a hard decision.

This makes me smile so much seeing you with your girls and knowing another family member is on the way! Y’all have been through so much and it’s so sweet seeing y’all enjoy parenthood finally!🥰

The girls are growing up so quickly and now both will be big sisters!! Wonderful!! I've also noticed the moon phase you're born on says a lot about your personality. Nova was born on a Waning Gibbous 🌖 phase whereas Mila was born on a New Moon 🌑. Interesting! And I'm looking forward to this new baby's moon phase!! Try researching and see what these phases say about the girls' personalities!! And of course prepare for the third one!!
