This was by far the hardest guide I have ever made PvM wise. I am very glad I had help making this guide as it might of turned out different or it might not have been made at all. I hope this helps a large amount of people get their first Telos kills or get better at the boss. It all requires lots of practice. If you do not know how to get there, check the description.
I don't understand half of the things you're saying. Just jumped in in my subjucation + nox staff, f*ckd up every hold still and got my first kill while eating 50sharks. Nice.
I haven’t been able to play much lately but I did get my rax kc up to like ~100 and my Telos Kc to like 50ish. Got bored with rax but telos is still fun. Didn’t do 100% enrage before I stopped playing but I’ll probably jump back on that once I do start again
Find a dif guide for anyone new to the boss. He doesnt tell you how to keep yourself up through mechanics. You need to know when and what defensives to use for what mechanics or youll end up sorry outta luck because you resonanced or reflected wrong thing. And never touches on how to lower font charge damage or how to actually do p5. U dont kill golems by fonts on p5. Way way way not worth doing.if youbdont have the dps to no bombb it go Shine green beam p5 aoe hard to clear golems while stunlocking telos as much as possible until either charging bomb or dies and thn immortality the bomb. Go bacl to green beam shield up cade and onslaught the last little bit. Thats the most new player/low dps friendly method
To all future ppl doing this, using reflect (and if you can fit in revenge) before using detonate on the golems in p4 helps you take alottttt less damage and if you get the revenge in DEAL alot more dmg with your deto. Great guide tho
@@signz9616 i wouldnt recommend perking gear for a specific boss unless it is extremely beneficial and you plan on doing that boss a ton otherwise it will be a waste. You should look into a perk guide that has been updated since the release of ancient invention.
@@signz9616 For all styles you’ll want Biting 4(can go for b4 combos), Enhanced Devoted 4 (perk is not combinable with another in same gizmo), Crackling 4/Relentless 5 (same gizmo), and a fourth of your choice. I’d recommend joining the pvme discord, www.discord.gg/pvme
With this guide, getting the first kills at this boss wasn't nearly as hard as I was expecting. Granted it's one of those enrage mechanic type bosses and apparently the real fight does only start at 100% enrage, getting low enrage kills is still enough to do Reaper tasks, so I'm satisfied with it. And maybe I can do 100% enrage once I get some practice, as a beginner I'm bad at dodging the mechanics and use tons of food, so I wouldn't have any left for another phase, but once I get his attack rotation committed to muscle memory, I should be able to avoid a lot more damage. I used melee because I can't afford high-level gear for every style, but maybe I'll learn with magic sometime down the line. Though like most bosses with a suggested style, I can't really seem to find any sort of explanation on why that style is recommended. Thanks for the guide though, it's kind of a relief that I can get kills on this boss considering how my Nex attempts went.
Watched this like 3 times, took down notes for P1-4. then face rolled my first 2 kills ignoring mechanics and eating all of my food. I am not good at this lmao. But with time, we'll get above 15% enrage HAHAHA :D Thanks for the great video!
I've slightly lost interest in Runescape recently (been playing too much Pokemon and MHW) but I'm still gonna watch this for that sexy ass voice and a cup of tea with biscuits before bed.
i hate telos.. 12 deaths and counting.. n this is at 0% enrage.. im sorry but the guide didnt help me as much.. i guess im a pvm noob and will have to skip t90 power armor for necro T.T
I struggle at arraxor currently, looking forward to skipping this for now when it comes up for a reaper task! I appreciate knowing I cannot handle this boss ahead of time.
I just learned last night, not as hard as it sounds, only died once in my first 6 kc, I didn’t one blind practice mode run, then watched guide, then did 6 kc for reaper. Using tank mage+animate dead, it’s easy enough to learn 0% and get the hang of the mechanics.
Awesome guide! Thank you for the content helping out players new to high level bossing. I feel like there is a large group of people who are wary of bossing and I think every guide helps a few more get involved. Keep it up!
I've watched the guide and its gone way above my head. What I'm finding hard to remember is what special he will start with on the next phrase. Yes I know you can predict it but I can't remember what he's going to start off with.
You have to pay attention to what he uses last. Use the image on a second monitor if possible, whatever special attack he uses last can be used to determine the pattern. I personally hate it which is why I stopped doing the boss not long after the making of this guide
So its safe to say Telos is more a defensive check boss than a DPS boss? Necromancy and comp/trim got me to finally fight the boss, and I did die trying 0% enrage blind with necro lol
Guides need to not include specific ways to deal with mechanics in the middle of explaining said mechanics in their essence. Explain the mechanics and the fight in one fell swoop and then delve into tips after that. Some people just want to know how the boss works and figure things out themselves lol.
Why do they have to make bossing so fucking complex and complicated!!!! Its fucking bullshit!!!! I'm sick of these god damn 4-5 phase bosses aside from NEX!!!!! Bosses like KBD, Zulrah, General Graardor, and Vorkath are what people want when it comes to solo bossing. Short kills with less bullshit to learn.
The RS Guy made a video that's way more detailed and that was a year ago. I don't really see the point of making this video, especially since the part of the hold still mechanic is incorrect
The secret to killing all bosses is tiring them with our deaths, than maken them doubt life itself when they give up on life just spam all keys and give it multiple neck shots. Congratulations your first kill thanks to me. Well Protox can thank me aswell, I just dont mind sharing this elite uber gaming skills.
I just killed telos on my first attempt using little to no mechanic dodges besides uppercut. I used sign of life, berserk aura, full masterwork and sharks with ovl and cinders.
I started my journey today. Did about 15 kills at 0% enrage. 1st kill my mind went blank ate about 50 rocktail. 😂😂. Anyways getting to where I can get 2 kills per trip so I think it’s time to up the enrage. Awesome guide. Thank you.
geez man and I thought araxxi was tough I cant even remember all this stuff lol way to much for 1 boss great guide I just not good at remembering a lot of things lol think i'll eventually fight him.
came back to this for free death week. Telos is doable at sub-100 but when I tried 100% it was insane just how much damage from everything all at once was annihilating me. giving it another go.
IN p4 when he's charging a bomb what can you do to reduce the damge it takes? that's the only place i use food and i have to go crazy on food there (very low enrage)
@@ProtoxxGaming ayyy my favorites RuneScape RU-vidr replied back! and I will give it a try at the very least. What could go wrong? (besides everything Lmaooo)
This video was super helpful. I don’t have a great magic rotation but I managed to get a couple kills and I’ve switched to using melee I think my highest enrage so far is only like 81%
Heyy first of all nice guide! It really helped me learning all the mechanics. I have two questions though. There is this mechanic that Telos wants to walk ON to me, this causes my character to move its possition. Most of the times this doesn't matter, but during P3 this always happens when I'm in the red beam. This will cause Telos to walk into the beam and push me aside and I get bombed. Second thing is during P4, whenever the minions spawn, I have a hard time clumbing them together to hit them all with detonate. And when Telos is also standing near the font alot of the times I litterly can't see the minions because they are below Telos' character model. Then I just can't attack and kill them at all. Hope you or someone else can help me out!
I'm about to do my first kills this weekend and I was considering using melee too. Anything significant you'd recommend I be wary of that isn't covered in the guide? I have all the gear and items
I've been trying to learn Telos for a few days now. After I've seen this, I feel more confident! Too bad it's DXP, else I would give it a try right now..awesome guide!!
@@wiseoldowl1628 yeah, get Enhanced Devoted and change your deflect curses very carefully Also, try and spam defensives on phase 3... I find that works better for me than using Onslaught But, all of this is before testing new amulet...so things might get better
Do 50 boss kills a day at dominion tower in endurance mode or something. It sucks but this way it will suck less, I myself am too lazy to get them right now
Thanks so much for this video man, it was really helpful seeing non perfect ability rotations and mechanic errors as a beginner looking to learn. I found it much more helpful than watching perfect kills and it was entertaining as well. Thanks a lot for the hard work, going to try to get to Telos soon!
