Neom project and in special The Line brings the sea and the mountains in 20 minutes travelling distance, so tourism is assured. For a city to survive the time the location is the most important.

Building a city where there's no water. Just brilliant. At least this megalomaniac vision is more feasible than The Line, but that's not saying much.

people want innovation but hate it when it happens. I don't know where else you expect the guy to build the city because he can't just snap a perfect piece of land into existence

It's definitely better than the line . But still planned cities built from scratch are always a bad idea , that is why it never worked until now and probably it never will
