I started working for Telus International in August and it seemed a fairly OK company to deal with. But by November they started to slip, first with the preliminary Invoices, then with the payments as well. As of now, they owe me several hundred euros, they don't answer any emails, offer no explanations or any other solutions. Whether they have financial problems, staff-issues or whatever, this attitude is the most unprofessional I've ever experienced. So, you've been warned.
How easy or common is it to stay on these programs? I was put on as a maps analyst but within two weeks I was suspended for being only two percent below what they required on a couple of rating areas out of five or six. The others were ok. I requalified and in just over a week my tasks changed locale and style with no explanation or practice tasks. I completed several of them and was disqualified again. They don't give any warning, feedback or chance to get used to the job
hey cipher, i have just opened an account at telus international. However, it is NOT the right fit for me and i need to move on, i wish if you can tell me how to delete my account since there is no clear setting choice for account deletion
@@soufiansigma2645 I think there was just some kind of resign button at the bottom or something. You just have to click that and tell them why. Hopefully they will change to a more reasonable system now
I've been accepted, but one thing I don't understand is why they are asking me to upload with my personal user and password from Windows, and to give them the possibility to access to my info of this accounts??
@@claudiotamburello4757 Not from people online or here, only from the Telus team asking me to access the platform So until now I haven’t done it because I don’t understand really the implications of their access to my personal accounts
Do you provided them what they asking for? Could you share more about this? I just passed all three part exam today! They will provide additional training soon for me on this internet assessor so would love to hear from you.
They don't give the payment after making a reduction, instead of taking the employee card, now I don't know if the company is a fraud or if there are fraudsters among the staff.
They didn't even send me the guidelines in a clear version, they are mostly blurred and the videos are blurred. When I email them they get back to me at 3am when they are supposed to be servicing Canada as a communications company they are not much good at communicating. Its been two months now since I started and still stuck on the maps, there was about a months additional delay too where no surveys were available in try rating. Every time I open the guidelines I feel like jumping off a building and I have been obsessed with maps all my life, even became a courier for 20 years as I love maps that much so thought this was a wonderful opportunity. So I told them how I feel since the name of their Canadian Government owned operation is "Tell Us". Yuk Ewww big red flag cold feet, to simplify.
I working for Lionbridge, which is Telus International, but they are clearly two very different companies. When they were Lionbridge I ws actually working 10 hours a week and doing more that than rating ads, but did alot of administrative work including ads, and maps. However, since becoming Telus International everything is misleading because they claim you will work a minimum of 10 hours a week, but over these lack 12 months you are lucky if you get 1-4 hours a week. From October 2022 to May 2023 majority of the time there was no work. Starting in May 2023 there has been work, but just a couple weeks ago there was no work. No work, but at the same time they were hiring. Communication is very very lacking. The team that reviews the work do not read any information that you send to the completely. They no longer have a platform for employees to support each other because they moved everything over to a private social media group, and you will have to re approved to join. They never approved me to join, even though at the time I had 3 months left on my contract, therefore, when a problem came up I had no one to compare issues with. Jus one week before the end of my contract, the time management representative sent me a no work notice (you must work 5 out 7 days at week), even though I received an email stating there wasn't any work and to do double time once the work arrived. That same representative required me to do a work ticket; and since I knew I wasn't going to work a full week, due to my last day, I sent in another ticket, explaining why I wasn't going to work 5 days. The response was about working the assignment again, but I didn't apply for that position, but for another one with Telus International. All current positions with Telus International no matter the title, hours, and pay are for the Ad Evaluator. I know this because of the response to the position that I applied for, which clearly stated it was for something else. Four years ago Lionbridge was a great company to work for because of the type of work, the communication, and the pay. However, Telus International is absolutely nothing like Lionbridge because they have extremely poor communication, the pay is less, the work is majority of the time not there; and the worse they block the support you would have gained by being connected to the other employees. Telus also changed systems to how they do payments and keep track of legal paperwork, making it impossible to get that information, without creating a ticket to get the information, which could never get answered. it was a good three year part-time job, but this last year it was like being PRN= on call to work when another person can't. It's still your choice to work from them, but you can save time by doing something else. All my issues happen between October 2022 through today (July 2023)
Hab mich gerad einline über indeed bei telus beworben. Hat jemand Erfahrungen damit gemacht? Könnte mir vielleicht jemand Rückmeldung geben ob das ganze wirklich so seriös ist wie es beworben wird?
NEED SOME HELP I'M APPLYING TO THE MEDIA SEARCH ANALYST JOB BUT THEY ASKED ME FOR A SCREENSHOT OF MY APPLE ID I'VE SENT THREE TIME THE SCREENSHOT WITH THE SPECIFICATIONS THEY REQUIRE BUT EVERY TIME IS WRONG AND I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO.
I'm going to keep this honest and not very friendly they are a crap company they are crap company to work for I spent two years there I got verbally abused by co-workers my therapist never addressed any of the videos I watched she complained to me how they were going to possibly fire her because of her sexual orientation they never paid me my PTO and they never addressed my issues which resulted from working there long-term and the nepotism is out of control which is not supposed to be practiced in the United States at least where I live and let's not forget the fact what they advertised on their classified that's not what I actually interviewed for and they violated the privacy of my home
