This composition was written for the online competition "VOStringsComp23", hosted by "Virtual Orchestration" ​⁠‪@virtual.orchestration‬ , a collaboration between Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA) and Orchestral Tools (Berlin, Germany). ​⁠‪@Orchestral-Tools‬ .
It is an exciting challenge featuring a melodic line written by Alex Lamy, celebrating the art of virtual orchestration at its traditional core: the string section.
My submission takes the form of a classical "theme and variations", produced using Orchestral Tools' virtual instruments, specifically the "Berlin Strings" library, in the StaffPad version ​⁠‪@StaffPadOfficial‬
