We made a short stop in Tempe to buy a bike and I decided to film a walk around town. A good portion of this walk is actually on the Arizona State University Campus. I really don't have much information about the city but this part was certainly clean and enjoyable. I hope you like the virtual walking tour of the downtown area, campus, and small section of residential parts of Tempe. Keep on Steppin' -H

Tempe is a really nice looking city and the area you are walking around has a lot of nice buildings and I really enjoy seeing everything here in this part of Tempe Thank You for another great walk around Arizona. 🇺🇲👋🤠👋🇺🇲

I subscribed to your 360 VR channel, thanks for letting me know about that. I use my VR headset and these virtual walks to help get me through the winter months. Works better than light therapy for me.

@@CityWalks I watch the standard walks with the VR headset as well, but I really prefer the 360 ones because of the ability to look everywhere around me. It’s much more immersive and the positive effect on my seasonal mood issues is much more noticeable. The trouble with VR is finding the time for it. It’s not as easy as just watching a virtual walk on my laptop or phone. It requires a quiet space and a wifi connection. Incidentally, your walk around Golden, Colorado is how I found your channel. That’s where my son attends school. If you ever go back there in the summer, maybe you could add a summer edition of the walk around Golden. :)

Hi Henry. Thanks for the walk. I never made it to the Phoenix metro area when I lived in Arizona. Tempe seems like a pleasant city. I was intrigued by your talk of a spring bike trip. Are you doing that trail in the Idaho panhandle? I remember you pointing it out in one of your Idaho walks. Did you get an e-bike? Hope all is well in Montana. Vermont has been sadly lacking in snow, which isn't great for the states tourism industry. Take care.

HI Tom, yes, we are planning a bike trip across France along the Loire Valley/ part of the EV6. We are at something like 40% of average snowpack here too, though it's snowing today. -H

Would have started at old main and the secret garden, but that's just me. That's what identifies ASU, especially the history of Old Main and it's relationship to Old Main of UofA

I walked this campus a couple of years ago when my son was visiting colleges. He eventually settled on a different school. But this one was almost the one. It’s a beautiful campus. Beautiful weather. Have you ever considered doing 360 videos for VR?
