I understand what you mean it kinda feel weird seeing these guys fall so quickly but that is becouse they are hyped so much, as veteran warriors with dozens of years of expirence and given the best gear. We expect them to be unkillable especially when their enemy is so weak, but it’s like erosion you look at a rock and really think does it sound logical for water, something we consume to destroy it? No but that’s exactly what happened here the endless waves of tyrinids, with absolutely powerhouses mixed in add the poor visibility and the surprise of the attack and with no way of retreating it’s no wonder why they fell.

​@@Sargeras147It's not the situation that killed them, it was the fact their armor was so easily breached. Small arms fire like rockets, lasguns, autoguns and even genestealer claws can really only scratch Tactical Dreadnought Armor, and considering these Terminators have Crux Terminatus, that only makes these weapons even less dangerous

​@@historytank5673Even if the visibility was absolute garbage, that doesn't exactly explain why their built-in auspex and tactical vision didn't work, yet the Tactical Squads did. Also, the rocket that bisected one Termie, and the two that brought another one to his knees is completely lore inaccurate considering these Terminators have Crux Terminatus. It feels like these guys were only brought in to spice things up

Indeed. Good ship. Personally, I think the Oberon is a much more versatile ship though. I fought an entire chaos fleet with an Oberon and 2 escorts, and won, meaning the escorts were dead and the BB was in tatters but it survived while the traitor ships did not. Attack craft are very, VERY important

@@CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC707Macro cannons are close range and inaccurate. this combined with imperial ships using their armoured bows to ram other ships lead to imperial ships preferring to stay at close range.

Yeah that made 0 sense. That ship hull with its meters of solid steel just broke apart like a pretzel. Metal doesn't even break like that even if a lump of meat could tear through it. I know we are supposed to fear the tyranids but it's hard to suspend ones critical thinking when they break physics like that.

I may be able to answer these but not with 110% certainty: Q1-Theoretically there could have been either a Marine Pilot, a Servitor Pilot, or a Chapter Trained Human Pilot. Since we never get a shot of who was onboard it is a toss up between those three. Likely a marine pilot since it was a intense engagement and having the Marine's superior reflexes would help navigate a debris field at speed. Q2-In Dawn of Fire Iron Kingdom, a jamming device is scuffing Imperial communications within and without the system. Only with the highest authorization code being enacted did the communications begin to be received. Theory)Imperial communication strength could be tied to the codes being used by the sender or receiver..It was a Chapter Master sending the signal also within the scene here, either through the Chief Librarian or high tech comms.

As for handing it over, their fleet was on its last legs, most of the Marines were dead, and Bal the homeworld and central command of the blood angels were about to be invaded by the same threat. The forge world may have built weapons for everyone in that sector, and the next, but losing a founding Chapter would absolutely crush morale across the Imperium. Not to mention all that superhuman biomass would be used to make super tyranids. Possibly even be used to make tryanids with black hunger or worse a way to inflict the worse of it their enemies. Like a cloud of contagious black rage.

I feel you but a lot of times characters that don't wear helmets will have a energy field generator called an Iron Halo and it protects them from headshots and other attacks.

even though the tyrand's shadow magic is obviously bought early cgi, it really blends in well with the clash of the warp rift. even when the demons are now planning the kill that hive fleet for denying them souls!

Terminators are all 1st Company Veterans. The Chapter Master “Honor Guard” of the Blood Angels are the Sanguinary Guard. These are just the Captains bros from the first company.

Official stance is that the 2 lost legions are there for us to create our own narrative around. As for universes disconnected....that's not entirely true. The chaos gods and beings of the warp are the same between settings, so even if AOS and 40k are insular, they are connected by the warp. And as we know, all things are possible in the warp.

@@SubliminalEncryption was it that chaos dwarfs even try to drill there chaos god realm and conquer unknow lands maybe if they get that story to work maybe then 40k and fantasy could be in the same universe....

But the statue in the Chapel was beautifully done, and with the new asset library, Man-Emperor be willing, Sanguinor will be done justice in the next season! (Assuming it's still going to be about Kazarion's team)

What you do not consider is this, you are teleporting through the warp. The same material that the Sword translates into, they teleport through. So it is seen as a last resort. A nuke, it may not even be active as you deploy it. As for recovery of the SGT, you may not even be able to recover him with the teleporter, they are over there, ish not what we think of with teleporters. As for deployment and retrieval, again, you do not want to send them through literal space hell. And only Terminators and grey knights are actually physically and mentally prepared for teleportation.

@@Questknight12 , If the complex electronics in the power armor can make it intact and functional to the target, so can a nuke. It's a simple oversight by the GW, and very likely a narrative device to transport the heroes into melee battle, starting with the attack on Horus' ship by Sanguinius and then the Emperor. The Heresy would have ended way to easily if they teleported a nuke on top of Horus, right?

Lore answer: the Captain has a shield, which is a 100 times more resilient than mere armor. Real answer: GW wanted to show scars and emotions on his face, in Hollywood style.

Real reason, it’s cool and helps the audience keep track of who’s important. My head canon reason is because it shows off how great you are a warrior having survived for a long and nothing has touched your face. Same reason why the veteran are given melee weapons with bolt pistol because it shows off how good you are a fighter that all you need is a melee weapon and a handgun

@@andrew3203I believe the shield is called the iron halo, and it’s able to stop bunker busting weaponry from what i heard (which is fricking insane).
