Thank you for showing me around. Very interesting. Can you explain how the two holes in the stone blocks are used by the masons, to manouver each block into position?

I wouldn’t stick as placed into each hole, then a rope is tied around those sticks and then with the power of the elephant they are hoisted upwards.

@@TheMrB Thanks for taking time to reply. I forget that elephant power vs manpower was involved. Those buildings stones have been cut to precise rectangular measurements. Exceptional skills shown by the quarry workers.

They were cut, but they were also rubbed against one another to make them the perfect flat that they are One was suspended above the other with ropes and then they were swung backwards and forwards and rubbed a against one another so they would then be perfectly flat. That is how they got them so exact
