Glad I found this channel, there is too few good warhammer book reviewers out there. I also really like your lore videos on aos, there is even less of those to go around so I hope you'll keep it up.

Happy to be considered amongst the good reviewers :) New upload schedule has been challenging at times, but so far so good

he is the only one that doesn't meander and actually talks about what is good or bad in the book

It's a great book, I think it's an improvement from the first one! And the ending... ooof.

I saw there is a new Callis and Toll book but it's written by David Annandale for some reason? I loved Nick Horth's Silver Shard but I'm not familiar with Annandale's books.

Yeah it's really peculiar that the author is changed for them and so far I haven't been able to find and explanation either. I thought Horth did well and Annandale isn't exactly the best author in BL either. He has written some decent horror/gothic novels which I've covered. But he is mostly known for writing by far the worst primarch books in the entire primarch series (Bobby G and Vulcan). But still have to read it, maybe it turns out to be a banger.

I like RomComs but not in book format especially not in a Grimdark setting like Warhammer the only romantic subplot in a Warhammer book I liked was in the Eisenhorn trilogy by Dan Abnett while every other time an author included Romance it felt unnecessary.

Flesh and Steel has a solid romance subplot too!

Will any of these books ever be available as PDFs so there isn’t extreme scalping due to FOMO?
