Speed & strength...deadly combo. Good stuff! Just curious, why did you do the tempo in super-shoes? Also would you be able to shoot videos with the team? That'd be sick.
thanks Jogger Studios! i wore the next% for the tempo because i didn’t want my legs to be beat up at all after the tempo. by wearing the next% i was still fresh for the strides. i think i’ll be able to make workout vids w the team but i’m not totally sure yet🤞
Hey man I know I’m kinda late, but I got these spikes about a month ago. I’ve got probably 3 miles in them at mile pace (4:15-20ish) and I’ve noticed a lot of issues. The plate just below the arch is separating from the foam, like closest to the heel. As well as I have a good amount of foam tearing off of my left heel(from the instability on turns). I’m racing on a banked indoor track this weekend and I’m honestly worried they won’t survive it. Thoughts?
Oh, also. I’ve been avoiding heel striking in them. Should I run naturally or focus on staying on my toes? I’m a junior in high school and have only been running for a year and a half. So I’m not sure how to adjust well ig.
hey tyler, if your spikes are falling apart that badly after only three miles in them there’s a chance you got a defective pair. i have well over three miles in my air zoom victory spikes and i have had no issues w them. i would try to contact nike to get your money back or a new pair of spikes. to your question about foot strike, i’d say run naturally. consciously changing your foot strike can lead to injuries. if you really want to change your foot strike you should look up some drills you can do to improve your foot strike/form
i would go w the dragonfly. i just posted a vid comparing the two spikes and giving my recommendation on which to buy (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zJsdHnHqFbo.html&ab_channel=Runner%27sHigh)
