God lifted the most broken man in New York and made him into the Priest! This Priest is so very powerful because he was so very broken and is now so very faithful to God in his efforts to save souls from going to hell.

12345 678910 Jesus was all man and all God, so He had to be tempted from an outside source as the 4th chapters of Matthew and Luke say. Hebrews 2:14 "Since the children have flesh and blood,he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death-that is, the devil- 15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.16 For surely it is not angels he helps, but Abraham’s descendants. 17 For this reason he had to be made like them,[k]fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. 18 Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted."

What if the temptation is against purity and ‘who’ is in the temptation makes it more shameful, and it takes you a time to realize it is a temptation, and you then reject it and pray as best you can. Does that delay make it a sin? Or it that ‘delay’ the delight of the temptation? Thank you!
Le verbe grec eispherein a pour correspondant strict en latin inducere, induire, conduire dont. le sens local est bien établi (Lc 5,19 ; He 13,11) et doit amener à comprendre : introduire dans le lieu de l’épreuve/tentation. Peirasmos , dans la Septante comme dans le Nouveau Testament, présente le double sens de : épreuve, tentation [14]. Épreuve : Dieu éprouve l’homme pour connaître le fond de son cœur (Dt 8,2). La plus terrible des épreuves fut celle d’Abraham (Gn 22,1). Relevons ce thème sapiential : « Mon fils, si tu t’offres à servir le Seigneur, prépare-toi à l’épreuve » (Si 2,1). Celle-ci fait partie de la vie chrétienne et contribue à la purification de la foi (1 P 1,6 ;4,12 ; Jc 1,2.12). Tentation : Satan est considéré comme « le tentateur » (Mt 4,3), depuis les origines (Gn 3) ; il est à ce titre le Père du mensonge (Jn 8,44). Mais on aurait grand tort de lui attribuer toute tentation. Le foyer du mal réside en notre propre cœur, comme le dit Jacques : « Chacun est tenté par sa propre convoitise qui l’entraîne et le séduit » (1,14 ; 1 Tm 6,9). Seule la prière de Jésus pour Simon lui permettra de surmonter le scandale et de se relever après sa chute : « Simon, Simon, Satan vous a réclamés pour vous secouer dans un crible comme on fait pour le blé. Mais j’ai prié pour toi, afin que ta foi ne disparaisse pas. Et toi quand tu seras revenu affermis tes frères. » (Lc 22,31s) A bon droit, on parle ici de la tentation eschatologique, l’épreuve décisive avant le temps du salut. La passion du Christ en marque le début ; d’autres événements prendront la suite, comme l’annonce le discours eschatologique : « Si ces jours-là n’étaient abrégés, personne n’aurait la vie sauve, mais à cause des élus, ces jours-là seront abrégés. » (Mt 24,22) C’est une manière de dire que Dieu n’abandonnera pas les élus à l’heure de l’épreuve/tentation suprême.
I remember myself laying on the bed holding rosary in my right hand and masturbating with the left, crying for help. Then it was just me and my sin. I was left in despair, couldn't fight the temptation off, not relaying on my strength, but still couldn't brake through. I weeped like a bankrupt just after loosing everything. Where was that thin line between my willing to give up and willing to hold on grabbing graces through Mary's Rosary? I cannot tell, but I can assure that what that priest is saying that the devil will flee because of the Rosary is not true. There is no magic here. It is all about supernatural faith. Either we have enough of it or we haven't because there is a grate chance for a sin of pride otherwise. Maybe.
