Lately I've been using mostly baitcaster gear when fishing at Melton with the general idea being that if I snag up I should be able to recover my lures fairly easily, but in this week's episode I have brought my light spin outfits to Melton with the hope I was going to find a myself a good battle with a few natives. And boy, did Murphy's Law deliver!
GEAR USED:
Rod: Shimano T Curve Premium 702 2-5kg
Reel: Shimano Twin Power FD 2500
Line: Toray x4 10lb braid
Leader: Shimano Ocea Fluorocarbon 20lb
Lure: Size 3 Stumpjumper in metallic green, gold and red

Boats are supposed to launch at the ski club ramp, a lot of boats launch at the bottom of Clarkes Rd but technically not supposed to do so

@dalewebb652 you need to be a member of the ski or fishing club, they will then provide you with a key fob to be able to pass the boom gate to use the ramp.
