As a side sleeper you should get the soft. I just bought a split king and my wife and I both got soft. Soft is equivalent to a medium if you look at their website. The mattress also has a 25 year warranty, and tempur stands by their products
You are right I went and tested the Luxe breeze soft vs the firm. Thanks to you I decided on the soft version and a adjustable base. I’ll will be ordering it directly from Tempurpedic. I’m definitely a side sleeper. I was really anticipating your review. Im excited I can’t wait to get it. Thank you for sharing your experience. Your videos are so helpful and I'm very grateful that you took the time to share. We are in a similar situation. I'm pretty excited to have a split king (my OWN fitted sheet!), and am much less picky about the mattress but my other half is incredibly uncomfortable with our current set-up from being over-heated and it's too firm for him. We started to feel upset with each other when it wasn't anything between us, but rather our bed! Due to his choice of a Luxe-Breeze at a 13" thickness, I'm going with the Luxe-Adapt since I get cold easily. The Luxe-Adapt soft is the only other 13" mattress that will match. I've been sleeping on an old-fashioned style 3-year-old mattress that is firm. I could do for something a little softer since I have shoulder pain and am a side sleeper. My shoulder pain isn't due to the mattress but it probably doesn't help. Do you all like the adjustable frame? It doesn't seem very important to me, but he wants his head elevated. The only appeal for me is being able to relax in a more comfortable position to watch movies on the iPad in bed. We are in the final stages before making the commitment. Like you, we like to be frugal and save for the future, but this might be something that will help the quality of our lives to the point where it's a fair value. I drive a Kia, buy most of my clothes at Wal-Mart and try to live as simply as possible and only spend money on my hobby interests and occasional travel. I just bought and awaiting delivery on a Temper-LuxBreeze soft queen mattress. I’m a side sleeper I have nearly debilitating hip, back and shoulder pain that my current mattress makes much worse. I can’t wait to see if the new mattress gives me any relief. Your reviews have really helped me decide. I’d pay any price to get more than my current 3-5 hrs of tossing and turning sleep!
Appreciate your two videos. Just purchased their mattress, and awaiting delivery. Your video made me realize I will have to buy news sheets because of the split as well as the corner holders. As someone who has tried almost every pillow because of being a side sleeper with neck fusions, I highly recommend the savvy rest shredded latex pillow. You can adjust the fill and it's able to be manipulated because of the shredded bits.
The Luxe adapt soft is much softer than the luxe breeze. It does have a cooling foam, but the breeze's foam actually pulls heat away and, I call it, super cooling.
After watching your video, my husband and I went with the split king adjustable base and 1 soft for my side sleeping and 1 firm side for his back sleeping. It will be a couple months before we get it, but thank you for your reviews. It probably saved us from getting the wrong system.

Wow I am glad I found you. I am a side sleeper myself. i tried the Luxbreeze soft in the store and loved it. Thinking of either going with pro Adapt medium, or medium hybrid or soft. I am just concerned it will get too soft over time. I have had back surgery too. I never sleep on my back, but if I get an adjustable bed frame I may be able to. I could never sleep on the firm, as its too uncomfortable for me.
We just purchased the split Luxebreeze. I have the soft as I am a side sleeper, and I love it. Now I had a Tempur-Pedic before this one so was already a fan. My hubby is a newbie, got the medium hybrid as he is a stomach sleeper. He is still adapting, but I notice he isn’t as restless in his sleep. I think it takes a week or so to truly adapt to the feel of these memory foam mattresses.
Ready for an update. We are looking at the pro-adapt soft. Husband is 220lb side sleeper. I’m 150lb side/back/stomach sleeper. I’m just so uncomfortable with the firmness of our current mattress that I have to constantly change how I sleep. We both wake up with hip and back pain. Can’t wait to see your next video.
Great review! I’m going for the purple 4…the tempur pedics are too hard including the one you have. The pro adapt soft is the only one I can do…but the purple 4 felt so different!
We bought that. Mid firm for hubby, cloud for me. He’s loving it and it’s a nightmare for me so far. The cloud is not soft right away and is actually way more firm then the mid firm we had before. You have to breaking in the mattress for months I’ve read. One week in and I hate it. I sleep in another room with my old mattress. I have fibromyalgia and shoulder injury. Very bad for a side sleeper. The kids fall in the hole between the mattresses. Definitely not an hit. I will update this later.
Half your life is spent in bed, your comfort is worth the money! I’m coming close to the end of my trial...at 90 days almost. I’m wondering if I should do the split switch myself!!! Such a hard choice! I think I will probably wait for 8-10 years when it’s time to switch my luxe breeze king for a new mattress. We do have the split bases for when we decide to go split. I agree with paying for quality and when there’s value in something! Did you not have to purchase the mattress protector to keep your warranty valid?? That’s the only thing I’m not liking as I find it really interferes with the cooling properties of my luxe breeze.... I’m tempted to not use it but I don’t want to void my warranty so I keep it on! I have the Adapt soft and Breeze soft side by side in a split king arrangement. (Really twin XL beds.) The new prosmart bases have a lumbar adjustment. As a tall 245 lb side sleeper, the adapt "cloud technology" works for me. The lumbar is useful in back sleeping mode, and helps in side sleeping too. Wifey is lightweight back sleeper who elevates her legs. The Breeze soft is firm enough for her weight. Lumbar not important to her. The foam technology beds should be thought of as a system with the adjustable base. We formerly were sleep number bed users due to their ability to adjust firmness. The foam bed types work well with adjustable bases.
I know the feeling of purchasing a mattress only to realize "it ain't working" and your stuck with it uggg! I purchased a recycled ♻️ plastic bottles mattress🤣 and that's after really studying up on mattresses for months...the mattress was supose to sleep cool but ended up being way to firm soooo I go to costcos and get a 200.00. 3 inch temper pedic topper to throw on top of the 2300.00 mattress just so I can stand to sleep on it😳..I absolutely love the temper pedic topper and now I'm really interested in the temper pedic luxe breeze soft mattress model the one you have😁....so can't wait for the latest update please hope you do one! This would be a huge investment for me also but I get it about the value thing. Great sleep is important to me! Thank you for your review . I also think a mattress is a good investment. We got the medium Tempur Pedic mattress 2 days ago and I’m having trouble sleeping. I might change it for a softer one or another type of mattress. It is hard to know what kind of mattress is good for you until you really sleep on it.
I have a Purple 4 hybrid, parents have a temperpedic for over 20 years. Their bed is without a doubt so much better on my back. Con, is it does sleep hot. Definitely interested in this cool breeze. Shout out from Southport, NC.
I got my tempurpedic about 2 years ago I paid quite a bit, it’s a pro adapt medium in cal king with adjustable base. I absolutely couldn’t stand the mattress for about 7 months, I contacted the store quite frequently telling me to start walking on it to break it in, and that unfortunately I couldn’t return it. I sleep with the purple pillow as well and recently bought 2 more as back ups for just in case they stopped making it. I also sleep with bamboo sheets from cozy earth, amazing! Well after 8 months it is. All my friends and family thought I was pretty stupid for investing 5 grand into a mattress but this mattress is the best and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Thx for the video update 👍🏻. I am curious though, if one of you are sitting up and the other is lying flat or almost flat how does the top blanket/quilt/comforter etc... react. Basically does the person lying flat get cold as a result of the other person being in a vastly different position? Thx again for the review.

Why do my shoulder jam on the luxbreeze soft on store models? I am 5ft.8 and 210lbs, bodybuild. Luxeadapt soft didn't jam shoulders. Does the luxeadapt stay cool at night? Thanks
Why are the sheets so loose? Is it always like that? Also, how is it with cuddling/meeting in the middle? That’s what’s holding me back from the split.
I've had my cool breeze luxe soft for a few days now. All my fibromyalgia trigger point is are not happy! I'm in so much pain. Did this mattress end up significantly softening up for you with more time?
I purchased this mattress about 2 months ago and it was way to firm and I would wake up with pain. I decided to give it some time and after about 2 months I noticed a considerable difference and now I sleep very comfortable on it. my advice is if you really like this mattress wait until the last week before the 90 trail period ends and If you are still waking up with pain then defiantly return it.
I have the same split king set, but both Luxe soft, I like to have my back raised a little he doesn’t, why don’t you have the mattress protector under your sheets, you need that for your warranty and I have been obsessed with mattress protectors after spending 10,000.00 on this set, I’ve bought three different protectors , I feel like Goldilocks and the three bears!

Thank you for your videos. I purchased the probreeze medium-hybrid becuase like u guys, I like softer beds as I'm a side sleeper. My wife likes firmer bed as she's a back sleeper. The bed does feel pretty firm but the first month the bed was perfect as I has no aces or pains but does feel a little too firm. But since I was soreless, I was like hey it's cool. But now 2.5 months in. I'm waking up with a sore back in the middle areas and still feels too firm, it hardly feels like it's "sinking in". I think I'm going to exchange for the luxbreeze soft. It's been over a year now since u got yours. Any updates, was it worth the swap? Are you feeling the "softer" feel? Please help, you don't have to make another video but a response would definitely help. Thank you!
@@UnitedStates. hey, just noticed you replied. Yes, I swapped it out for a luxbreeze soft and for me it's an absolute upgrade. I'm sleeping so much better. Feels much more comfortable for me. Much softer yet still has enough firmness to feel in place. I think my wife Likes the other one though. She's been having some back pain, but we aren't sure if it's the bed. I honestly don't think it's the bed, I think it's just soreness. But time will tell.
@@Phenom-rl5pr Lol. I got the breeze and the first few days I hated it. I like firm mattresses and my wife soft mattresses. My wife ended up loving it and I hating it. This alone tells anyone that mattresses are just too individual to buy based on a review. I think I am liking it now. Same as you probably I was just sore from doing house work and now that the soreness went away I sleep nice now. Wife still is loving it. Sleeps like a baby.

What difference in beautyrest firm or extra firm and this tempurpedic actually i have bacache and just purchased firm beautyrest c class actually i need good support on my bach and at same time not very hard
Great question. Ultimately you may have to simply try them out to see which is best for you. The only real consistent truth is side sleeper need softer and back sleepers need firm
My husband and I just purchased the pro adapt medium. We both are sleeping on the couch and floor because we are in so much pain. After a week of sleeping on it we feel like we were in a car wreck. Did your mattress soften over time and if so how long was your break in period?
The original firm we had for 9 months only soften a little within the first two weeks. After that it was the same every night. I also looked at the medium and hybrid but they were too firm for me. This Luxe Breeze Soft has been much better. My wife loves the firm she is happy. I could probably go even softer but it's only been two weeks with the soft so we will see. If your a side sleeper I would go Soft If your a back or stomach sleeper look at the Firm.
Just hope it still workin out after 6 months. If this one lets you down might want to try purple 3 or even better bed called intellibed. 6 grand for 16.25 inch thick queen mattress

I have lower back pain and siatica and a little nervous about possibly changing to the soft because what if it too soft for me?. cant wait to hear your update after three year
Really like it much better than the firm. the Split is a very good balance for my wife and I. My only negative is we do not like the crack/split between us but it is not a deal breaker. Just an adjustment.
This guy is more interested in seeing himself through a camera's lense than he is anything. He is about as eloquent as a piece of french toast and can't go 4 works without "uuuhhh", uumm""" "eerr". The sniffling and heavy breathing while talking must be a southern thing. Someone should also tell him that he has more chins than a San Francisco phone book. I wish that I would have spent the 12;59 minutes that I spent watching this video doing something more beneficial and helpful than this video. Taking a big healthy dump is the first thing that comes to mind
