I've had the same Symphony pillow for almost 13 years and it's still in perfect condition. My husband has the Breeze Dual Cooling Pro, and two of our kids have the Cloud pillows. Our other son has the Symphony like me, but his is new. We love Tempur-Pedic. We do have one other Tempur pillow from years ago, the Neck Pillow, but everyone hates it!
Now these are my style of pillows i like, solid piece of memory foam. I really like the Tempur-Cloud Breeze. It is perfect for my side sleeping needs with its 6.4” loft and the gel layer to help me stay cool since i tend to sleep hot. Tempur-Pedic make nice beds and pillows, i just wish they were more affordable. Most likely i won’t be getting one but i can fantasize lol. Great comparison as always
I really like the dual cooling pillow. I like to put the pillow in a choke hold and sleep on my side and stomach. It feels like heavy dough in a bag to me. I like it, it is very comfortable, a bit cooling, and a tough cookie.
This is a really nice breakdown of the Tempur Pedic options. I love pillows and I'm always on the lookout. I would go for the cooling options because nothing feels as great as a nice, cool, pillow.
I am sleeping on a down alternative pillow, I think - LOL! That's terrible isn't it that I don't really know what's inside my pillow. I purchased it long before I found you guys at Mattress Clarity so I was an uneducated pillow purchaser when I got mine. So, I think I fell for the Temper Cloud Breeze Dual Cooling in this review. The gel pads that keep you cool are a huge draw for me and you recommend it for side sleepers too - yea!
Tempur cloud looks very comfortable but I wonder about heat dissipation, as a lot of memory foam pillows retain heat and require middle of the night rotation to keep cool side up.
Thank you for this review. I have been using the classic tempurpedic comfortpillow and wished it was still being made, as it only exists now as a travel style pillow. Will definitely love to see this video and decide what the closest fit is to that pillow i loved for so long.
So many pillow options out there these days, and beds too, it is all getting so confusing. I think from this review the Temper Down would be the closest to what I would like, since I prefer down or a down feel .
Little did I know there were so many choices. Thanks for sharing all the details, Next pillow I buy, I will be armed with information.I think I may need to buy a summer and a winter pillow.
Ended up with quite a few different temper pedic pillows and also have a body pillow. Love them all! However the neck pillows do take a few nights to adjust too.
I have the original classic firm Tempurpedic bed, for 16 years. I wanted a new pillow, so while I was trying the mattresses at their store, I was using the down foam pillow. Loved it, they were having a promo buy one get one free. I bought it, and I love it. Works well on my old tempurpedic bed. Keeps my shoulders and neck in good alignment. Didn't wake up sore in shoulders and back.
Just curious, but after reviewing all these pillows what do you do with them? I can't imagine keeping so many pillows or giving them away to friends and family after a while (as they would be overstocked with them already from years past). If you need people to send them to to get rid of them, I'm game (and always trying to find the perfect pillow for my side/back sleeping that doesn't give me a stiff neck)! Thanks for the reviews; hopefully I'll find something that actually works for me :(
I have been waiting for you to do reviews of tempur pedic!! I actually use tempur pedic pillows. I love them!! Tysm for the review. I've been curious which is best!!
I'm currently using a beautyrest ngx series I'm very curious to try some of the Tempur-Pedic pillows I'm trying to find the firmest memory foam pillow that I can find that is also large and pillow shaped I don't want any of those weirdly shaped ones that are designed for next support their cool but I like a traditional pillow shape . The beautyrest and g x is one of the largest memory foam pillow I could find at the time and also came in a very firm variant Going to try and find a TempurPedic store to try them out unless someone can tell me which is the largest and firmest one
I would love a personal recommendation! I have a similar body type to Marten. Tried to Eli & Elm side sleeper and liked it but didn’t love it. Currently trying the purple harmony pillow, and again I like the pillow but not sure right now if it’s the one for me. I did however originally order the 6.5” and may order the 7.5” to see if that makes a difference. What would you recommend?
