Hi Darla, Thank you for sharing this yarn from Temu, it looks lovely and I will have to see i May try it. Just yesterday another you tuber was just answering a question he got regarding why some yarns untwist on some people when they pull from the centre at either end of skein of yarn…the manufacturer that he spoke with was yarnspirations and what he was advised was that the yarn is twisted in the the same direction throughout the ball/skein. When some people crochet or knit from the middle of the ball/skein the yarn untwists on them and it has something to do with the way that they crochet or knit, so those that this happens to should pull the yarn from outside the ball so it does not untwist on them (If you want to hear it from Mikey head on over to Crochet Crowd). Take care and stay safe and well. God’s blessings 🙏🏼🧶💗😻🦋🐶
Looks like nice yarn. Kind of reminds me of some of Dollar Tree yarn. I have some that is like that. Splits but is soft. Thanks for the great review Darla. 😊👍💕
The title said Tumu HAUL this was one yarn in 2 colors, when is someone going to do a real like 10 diff yarns haul?? I'm so curious about some of the yarn they've got!! Super informative, thank you
Thanks for the review, Darla. I don't know whether I will buy the yarn - it all depends on what I want to make. The fact that it is so thin and "splitty" does not concern me at all. It works up beautifully. 🤗
Hi Darla, the yarn looks great, I’ve yarn that’s made like that from Hobbii that I put a bead on and it works just fine. Personally I won’t call it splitty but more like unwound. Enjoy it. Great price also.
Thank you Darla for the review on the Temu yarn. I have the same problem with a recycled yarn made apparently from Denim. It is called Habe no makers name or anything on the label. It splits awfully and many times have I had to pull down my knitting almost to the point of burning this yarn. ❤😊😢
Nice thank you for sharing. You could do price adjustment. They could give you credit. I'm hooked on buying from Temu. Spent to much the last few months. Haven't bought any yarn yet. I may now.
Go into the order details and you will see a price adjustment button on the left hand side. Click it and it will show you which purchases have gone down in price since you bought. You can then get a credit for the difference to your account. You can then use this toward your next purchase by checking your credits in your account. I think its designed to keep you shopping with them. Its good for 30 days. I think you can also get a refund back to your card but a lot of their yarns are really great value. At least the ones I have ordered so far are and the price adjustments add up.
Oh! They say it's acrylic. Are you sure it's cotton? It doesn't feel like cotton to me. Edit: I just read your other comment. I'll look up the cotton one... what is it called?
Thanks a lot for this review. The yarn looks beautiful but I have a major problem with the lack of informations about it. As soft as it seems to be, I'd worry to use it for a baby or a child. I like my yarn to be Oeko Tex certified, and I like to be sure what the composition is...
I haven't bought this yarn but have bought other Temu yarn. I just have to get it out and start using it. I am just working on other projects at the moment.
