TEN-10 TV News 1981 

Long close for "Eyewitness News" this is the best cut of the MCTYW theme, the piano melody... and I'm partial to CHL myself. My first exposure to thie theme was in the late 70s while visiting relatives in Texas... KTRK in Houston, Channel 13, used it.

It was nice to revisit my time with TEN 33 years ago. My we were dramatic with the promo's in those days.

I like that "Ferrante & Teicher" -style piano work in the promo! LOL!

About 2:53 to 3:00... In New York, on WPIX... "Thank you for watching Channel 11's *Action News*, The Tri-State area's award-winning prime-time newscast."

If they were doing a v/o in Houston, from about 2:53 to 3:00, it might go like this: "You've been watching Channel 13 Eyewitness News, Houston and Gulf-Coast Texas' Number One TV news service."

Ken was with QTQ9 weekend weather then TV0 weekend weather before moving to BTQ7 in 1989.
