We don't often partake in touristy things, but this was a different kind of trip for us, so I made reservations for a boat tour out into the Ten Thousand Islands region of southwest Florida, part of the Everglades National Park. We saw beautiful scenery, dozens of bird species, and the more dolphins than we've ever seen in our lifetimes combined.
