There is no Love so I clicked on Like. If you can dream it, and if you believe it, it will come true! Thank you Jack and Friends, Love this so very much.
Don't get wrong I love when the D plays with the whole band, but there's undeniablly a great powerful magic that arises with the power duo performances
I saw them at Bournemouth in 2013, and it was just the two of them. I wouldn't have had it any other way. I love how their roadie and Sasquatch come on and participate sporadically throughout the show as well.
Was just gonna reply the same thing. It's great regardless, but something is lost when it's a full band. I got into the D when their HBO series was on, and there's something so damn amazing about a folk acoustic duo that's somehow more metal than anything you've ever seen or heard.
It makes me so happy to see thousands of European fans screaming the words to songs from a commercially panned movie from over a decade ago in a non-native language. Long Live THE D!
Rather here it was a surprise to hear that he movie was "commercially panned" to pick up your terms. We just got to appreciate the D and took it as what it was : epic and hilarious
+Reg Gia No they're not, they announced they would back in April and said it would be out by October. Instead they're working on Post Apocalypta which has 3 episodes on RU-vid and IMO sucks. :(
Yeah his name is Brooks Wackerman, he drummed for Bad Religion, Tenacious D, and now A7X. He also filled in for Travis Barker in blink-182 for a tour after his plane crashed. He's a solid drummer
Todd Wedel Not quite true. Blink was broken up during Travis' plane crash. Brooks filled in for Travis when they went to Australia because Travis still isn't ready to get back on a plane.
I went to this concert when i was 16 and it was honestly one of the best nights of my life. I met a girl during show and we’re still dating believe it or not. audience almost brought the house down near the end, everybody was screaming the lyrics so loud my ears were ringing for a week. So lucky to have attended THE BEST Tenecious D show ever recorded. Just Jables and Kage rocking out with two guitars. LONG LIVE THE FUCKING D

Mind you, this gig was pretty legendary. First (and so far only) Tenacious D concert in Belgium, ever. We'd been begging for it for over a decade, and when it was finally announced, people lost their shit. Tickets sold out shortly after that.
Kyle came back on stage once everyone left in AB, 10 people or so left in the room and guy starts chatting with the fans, lets us take some pictures, nicest guy
One thing that’s funny about Tenacious D is that their characters are amateur acoustic guitarists who are rockstars in their minds. What’s genius about them is that a fan can listen to them play their songs acoustic but in your mind the whole band is there.
You know why I adore Tenacious D and bands like Primus? They wrote songs purely for fun. The lyrics and music is astonishing to the bones. That's what drives my imagination and boosts my mood everytime i listen to them.
Damn right....he can hits these notes too...he's trained....and they're such great songwriters....think about just this yr..how HUGE peaches was( I know it's not a D song, but its still JB) Then they come with VIDEO GAMES a friggin hilarious awesome song.....these 2 are just the best

Never realized how easy it was to play their songs on acoustic just had keep watching over and over where they put their fingers :) Since I know how to play acoustic did not take me long to figure it out :) I'll still never be as good as KG he's the best on the planet
Great show. The Ballad of Hollywood Jack & The Rage Cage made me cry. I am so happy to see The D as they were. Just JB & KG together on stage with their guitars rockin' my socks off.
Two very ritmic acoustic guitars, charismatic rockin' performers, auditory full of drive! Never had a chance to watch Tenacious D live, thank you for great atmosphere!
its crazy how you can see how jacks hair is fine at the beginning then skip to the end and its just a glob of sweat fur. this concert is their best concert ever. i like this better than the stage gimmick stuff.
That place is packed damn. I wish the movie managed to catch the attention of more people cuz these two are quite talented and they are actually singing live.
Yea, I feel so bad. I never saw the movie myself. At the time, I didn't know what tenacious D was, I thought it was just an entertainer/studio trying to do a cheap cash in. Wish I would've gone to see it when it came out, these guys are awesome!
The 370 ppl who dislike it must have missed something in their life. This is an epic concert. Just two accoustic guitars in this huge place and the sound is just pure crispness. Not to mention Jack's range of vocal, just remarkable!
No se necesita más, este par son la encarnación del Rock and Roll, solo dos guitarras, esa incomparable energía, actitud, autenticidad. eso no se ve todos los días. Por eso me encanta ver y oir Tenacious D. Simplemente geniales.
so talented .... TD hits the spot for soul enrichment, even if in it's in the crudest form. Viva la Tenacious D !!! Thanks Jables & Kage for a Zen experience !!!
The last few songs before the encore was fucking legendary! The guitars the singing and the fucking crowd were all amazing! This cemented this video as one of the best full concerts on youtube. There are no words how great that was.
When Jack strums acoustic guitar,,it always sounds like pinball wizard, when Kyle strums acoustic,,it to always sounds like,,pinball wizard!! That's always the case when they are strumming thier OWN stuff!!
